** REHOMED **

We have a fabulous 4 and a half year old Black Lab looking for a new home. He is male and castrated, fun-loving, full of energy and has so much love to give a family orientated home.

Unfortunately, his current owner has started a new job and in unable to give him the love and attention he wholeheartedly deserves.

We would love this handsome doggy to go to a well established house that has a similar breed of dogs or is capable of the breed, who are active and will give him the best life possible.

If you are interested, please contact Tara by DMing the page.

*Disclaimer* We take the rehoming of an animal very seriously and conduct a thorough vetting process before agreements are made.

Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately, we are not taking TY students for the rest of 2026 and 2027 due to prioritising veterinary students and veterinary nurses.

If you are serious about studying veterinary, we encourage you to apply for a week during your leaving cert year. Or if you are applying abroad, 5th year to avail of experience for your applications.

Apologies in advance.

🐾 CALICO CAT – FOUND INJURED 🐾

We have had a calico cat handed into Blackwater Veterinary Clinic after being found injured over the weekend. ❤️‍🩹

The cat is very well cared for, so we are hoping we can reunite them with their owner. Unfortunately, the cat is not microchipped.

📍 Found in the local area

If you think this may be your cat, please contact Blackwater Veterinary Clinic.

⚠️ Proof of ownership will be required before the cat can be reunited with anyone. This may include photographs, veterinary records, or other identifying information.

Please share this post to help us find their family! 🐱❤️

Just a reminder that the top of Shoulder's Lane is closed to traffic, but is open to pedestrians.

You can also drive up from the bottom of the lane. It is a tight space and those not comfortable to drive, we would recommend parking in town and walking to the clinic.

🚨 IMPORTANT TRAFFIC UPDATE 🚨

Please be aware that Shoulder’s Lane is closed from the Courthouse side until October.

🐾 The clinic is still accessible by entering from the bottom of Shoulder’s Lane.

🚗 However, due to increased traffic and congestion, we strongly advise clients to park in town and walk to the clinic where possible.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while these works are ongoing. ❤️
