🐾 Tick Alert! 🐾

One of our patients came in for a scheduled procedure, and while getting him ready for surgery, we noticed some redness around his abdomen. A closer look revealed the culprit — a tick hiding in his fur! 🔍

Ticks can be easy to miss, so regular checks and parasite prevention are important to help keep your pets protected from these unwanted visitors and the diseases they can carry. 🐶

Hot weather can be dangerous for our furry friends 🐶☀️
Keep walks short, provide plenty of water, and make sure they always have a cool, shaded place to rest. Stay safe and stay cool! 😎

Check this out: Limerick Feral Cats are running a neutering scheme to help control the cat population and improve welfare. Limited spaces available, so book early! 📞

Every share helps spread the word and reach someone who might benefit from it. Thank you! 🙏🏻

We have decided to offer reduced neutering. Mid West vets in Ballysimon are helping us with this. We will be subsiding the cost. You need to bring your cat in a proper cat carrier or your cat will not be treated. When you call to schedule you need to mention limerick feral cats to book, otherwise you will need to pay the full cost. This offer is open to the first 100 cats. So call and book your cat in to be neutered. We especially are hoping for all those male cats to be done to prevent them dying from fiv or felv or getting killed by cars chasing females and to end all the fighting. You will also need to pay your part at check in. Don't forget that your cat will need to be fasting from the night before their surgery and then kept inside in a warm quiet room after surgery until the next day. Thank you so much to mid West vets and all of their wonderful staff who have been so good to us over the years and continue to be. We really appreciate it.
