Thank you to Marita and all in Star Rescue for doing everything to try save this poor boy :( Its heart-breaking .
I know Marita is absolutely devastated that they weren't able to save this innocent boy , but they did what no one else did which was show up and try !

๐Ÿ’” ๐”๐๐ƒ๐€๐“๐„ ๐Ž๐ ๐“๐‡๐„ ๐‹๐”๐‘๐‚๐‡๐„๐‘ ๐Ÿ’”

Since Sunday, our volunteers have been out on the road trying to help this poor dog, with wonderful neighbours and members of the Ardagh community keeping us updated with sightings.

Our humane trap was carefully monitored, but sadly, it wasnโ€™t meant to be.

The Lurcher we have been told has passed away. ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿพ

Despite everyoneโ€™s best efforts, sometimes things just donโ€™t go the way we desperately hope they will. It is incredibly sad, especially knowing how hard the local community tried to help.

A huge thank you to everyone who made calls, shared sightings, kept watch and tried to help.

Run free, little one. Weโ€™re sorry we couldnโ€™t get to you in time. ๐Ÿ’”๐ŸŒˆ
