Pet Expo day 1, what a day 🤩

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by today, made a purchase, posed at our photo booth, chatted to us about your dog and to the doggies that gave us lots of cuddles and kisses 🥰

Here are some of the best boys and girls that posed for a photo at our stall today! We met so many doggies today so we’re very sorry if we forgot your name 🙈

Please make sure to tag anyone we missed below 👇🏻

This week marks exactly one year of being full time self employed, and what a journey it’s been 😄

This time last year I was let go from a job that, while I found it frustrating at times, I enjoyed for the most part.

At the time I was disappointed and angry as was told the decision had nothing to do with my work and more of a “clash of personalities”.

Now a year on, I realise it was actually the best thing that could have happened to me. The Woofdrobe | Irish Dog Accessories ☘️ has grown so much in the last year in a way it could never have done if I hadn’t been forced to face unemployment head on.

Being let go just before Christmas was scary, but ended up being the perfect time, giving me the motivation I needed to dive in head first and have an amazing Christmas season.

I’m the type of person that believes in a greater plan. I believe that things always happen for a reason, it’s either a lesson or a blessing. I will never regret the time I’ve spent in any job I’ve held as there have always been amazing skills I’ve learned along the way while simultaneously showing me what things don’t align with who I am and what isn’t a good fit.

I feel so lucky that I get to work for myself, on my own schedule, and above all work with dogs. They truly are one of the best blessings in this world and the fact I get to bring joy to their lives and the people who care for them makes me so happy.

As we head into another Christmas Season I just wanted to share a little of my journey over the last year and say thank you to all who have supported me. I still do a little happy dance when someone buys from me, books me for a walk or even engages on social media.

Here’s to a successful Christmas period 🎅🏻 👏🏻

A little behind the scenes of the prep that goes into a trade show and what that looks like for a small business owner that works from home 🫣😅

My living room currently looks crazy with stock, boxes and tables all over the place! But so excited to get everything prepped and packed and bring it all to you this weekend at 👏🏻

Fair play to all of us small business owners who are passionate enough about our trade to turn our house into a warehouse. And to the family members who let us and support our dreams 🥰💖

Just joking 🤭😂

There’s never any pressure to buy from us! We’re just happy to chat about your dog, hear about their adventures and give them a little love! 🐶💚

Although… we’ll always be delighted to see you again! 👀😂
