PACDOG has been at the forefront of dog training and containment systems for over 30 years. Our formula for success has been to supply high-quality, innovative products supported by the best customer service in the industry. Evidence of this is borne by the fact that a significant proportion of PACโ€™s business is won by โ€˜word of mouth' recommendations from our large, very satisfied customer set. All our products are accompanied by fully descriptive Instructions for Use and Training Guides to ensure the most humane introduction of the equipment for the training of your canine companions, whether they be one, or more, family pets; โ€˜soul matesโ€™; or for the more demanding requirements of HPR and other working dogs. Our dog fence offers a great way to reduce the intrusiveness of a secure, conventional fence whilst enabling your dog to roam free inside an invisible boundary. Flowerbeds, swimming pools, and child-play areas can be isolated within the boundary to give added sophistication and peace of mind.

โ Dogs are pack animals and they need an established pack order. Effective dog training demands that you must be the ๐š™๐šŠ๐šŒ๐š” ๐š•๐šŽ๐šŠ๐š๐šŽ๐š›.

๐Ÿพ Teaching your dog to do something or breaking him of a bad habit can only be done by creating nice feelings associated with good behaviour (reward training) or by creating small unpleasant feelings associated with bad behaviour (aversive training).

๐Ÿพ Most successful training involves a balanced and appropriate blend of both ๐š›๐šŽ๐š ๐šŠ๐š›๐š ๐šŠ๐š—๐š ๐šŠ๐šŸ๐šŽ๐š›๐šœ๐š’๐šŸ๐šŽ ๐š๐š›๐šŠ๐š’๐š—๐š’๐š—๐š. Electronic training is most effective as part of just such a balanced training regime.

๐Ÿพ Aversive training can only be effective if the aversive stimulus is proportionate, getting the animals attentions by being sufficiently unpleasant but causing no harm or lasting effects.

๐Ÿพ When dealing with breaking your dog of an undesirable habit, it is impossible to โ€œunlearnโ€ undesirable behaviour by ignoring it or rewarding it and this is where the controlled, repeatable and safe aversive stimuli available from electronic training aids come into their own โž

Where did the phrase "๐ ๐จ๐ง๐ž ๐ญ๐จ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐จ๐ ๐ฌ" come from? Thought to have emerged around the 19th century, indicating a noticeable decline or deterioration in something or someone.

This notion could stem from the historical association of dogs with lower social classes or undesirable characteristics. Over time, the phrase has become a humorous and effective way to point out that things are going downhill!!

However, don't give up just yet - consider using an e-collar as an alternative solution.

Many dog owners believe they will never need to resort to using stimulation as a means of communication and discipline with their pets.
