This cutie and their siblings were in for their 1st vaccinations yesterday 💉
They are heading off to their new homes very soon 😀

The nickname Oreo is used for them due to their distinctive markings 🐮

Some tips during this spell of hot weather 🌞

Please remember to keep your animals cool and safe during this heatwave 😎
- Only walk when its cool, very early mornng, or late at night.
- Provide fresh water at all times.
- Make sure there is plenty of shelter/shade.
- Avoid travelling in cars, especially dont leave any pets in cars.
- Older, overweight, flatfaced, thick coated dogs/cats will be more at risk of heat stroke.
-Signs of heatstroke: shaking, weakness, collapse, vomiting, excessive panting, drooling, red/pale gums, confusion, seizures and diarrhoea.

🐶 Kennel Cough 🐶

It is a highly contagious respiratory infection in dogs, often causing a dry, honking cough. While generally mild and self-limiting, it spreads rapidly in crowded areas. Treatment often involves rest, with vaccinations available to reduce severity and risk. Sometimes other treatment is needed if they are not eating or lethargic. Please call us on 056 4400550 if you are worried. If you think you dog has Kennel Cough please stay away from other dogs for upto 10 days after symptoms start.
