A random, unplanned (very amateur 🙈) video took today….after all the wind and rain last night the sun came out just as I was driving in - what you see if what you get !
I love driving into my happy place 🥰
Still a few stables free for breakers/pre-trainers in a lovely, quiet relaxed atmosphere….best of facilities and surfaces and my own home-bred kind, experienced riders as well as fab staff 😉
Definitely a place for a horse that might not be suited to a big busy yard or maybe needs a change of scenery.
Totally stress-free living here !

So….changes here , back to our roots 😍 🐎

TB BREAKING • PRE-TRAINING • SCHOOLING offered.

I am soooo happy to be returning to the Thoroughbred side of the industry.
It’s what I know best , what I love most, (what I’ve done since I was 15!) and fits in with family life again now they are nearly all reared , and our eldest three are working within racing 😉

We have a private, exclusive TB-only yard, providing a safe, calm, professional environment with first-class facilities and individual attention to every horse.

Facilities include ….
*2 furlong round gallop
*indoor arena
*outdoor arena
*lunge ring
*horse walker
(all with excellent surfaces)
* 12 horse American barn
* 7 outdoor stables

Postcode - R51 TC79
10 minutes from The Curragh Racecourse, on the Kildare-Kildangan Road

We offer breaking, pre-training, rehabilitation, flatwork, jump schooling and loose schooling, with experienced riders across a range of disciplines.

I will be attending Tattersalls and Goffs sales, with transport available to bring selected yearlings directly back to the yard if required.

*A limited number of outside stables for rental if needed, if someone local has their own yearling they wish to do themselves.

For further information, or to look round our facilities please contact : Louise - 087 6216488

Tonight I had to say goodbye to dear Beau, 22 years young 😢
It’sabeautifulday came to us as a 3yo racehorse , his wind wasn’t great and he wasn’t meant to be a racehorse clearly after a few runs!
So we got given him by his owner, and John Roche had him for a couple of years as a polo pony. He came back to me and settled happily into being a riding school horse. And what a legend he was. Special needs adults, kids, college people, any people ! He’s hunted a bit with my boys , the ultimate all- rounder❤️
I have 9 “golden oldies“ here that have been with me for the last 10- 15 years and more and I love them all dearly . And I know they all know that as they always let me catch them no matter what (not everyone can 🤣) and they just know my English accent as soon as I walk into the field, stable , tie up area or arena ! I definitely get a “hey mum” look ! 😉
They’ve given me an opportunity to earn money to let us enjoy the showjumping etc…and in return I think I’ve given them all a class life. Never over worked , all treated as individuals and all of them over 20 years old.
Everyone hears of the good horses in the equestrian world, but the true legends are the ones who put up with all the bad riding when people are learning ….and still stay kind and sweet .
And Beau a TB, what an absolute perfect advert of one 🥰
Thanks Beau , it’s been a privilege to have 19 years of such a loyal, kind soul in my life ❤️
It’s been a lot of beautiful days with a lot of smiling 😎
It’s time to go and find your sweetheart Devine 💖 🌈
