Delighted to share that Financial Reward has been awarded 5* Status!!

Horse Sport Ireland is delighted to announce the new 5* status of the thoroughbred stallion Financial Reward, standing in Ballinglen Stud with Donal Goland, for the performances of his eventing progeny.

To achieve 5* status, stallions must have two progeny who each achieve 2 MERS at CCI-4*L or CCI5* level.

The two counting progeny for Financial Reward are Clever Trick (ISH) ridden by Susie Berry for Ireland and Bloomfield Manuscript (ISH) ridden by Sam Ecroyd for Great Britain.

🐴🏡 For Sale Filly foal - Class 1 Breeding 🐴🏡

This filly has won her classes at raheendaw, Gorey and Wicklow summer shows and also stood champion foal at Adamstown and IDHBA Laois shows. She has a good temperament with floating movement and great confirmation.

She is sired by Clogheen Captain Jack (Fast Silver) who has enjoyed success with his early crops, most notably siring the highest placed 4yo in the 4&5 year draught performance class at Balmoral 2026. His oldest crop are 4 year olds and he had two progeny qualify for the final.

Her Dam Ballinglen Christine is a Class 1 mare sired by Rebel Mountain, a notable sire of ridden hunters and eventers, foxcovertdancingintherain, Coolaneen Rebel and Twice proved to name but a few.

This foals Grandam Avoca Piccalilli is sired by Grange Bouncer who competed to Grade A in showjumping and up to CCI3* eventing. Avoca Piccalilli is also a half sister to the CCI3* mare Avoca Feile.

This filly possesses the elegance and confirmation to make a top class show filly combined with a top class performance pedigree rarely seen in a full Irish draught.
