Dublin Dog Hub provides dog shelter services in Dublin and surrounding areas.

We are currently working with Dublin
City Council's Animal Welfare Unit to provide a safe, secure and comfortable facility where we strive to reunite lost dogs with their owners and to find new homes for dogs who need them. All queries including requests to visit should be directed to Dublin City Council Animal Welfare Unit. All queries from rescue groups should also be directed to Dublin City Council at 01 222 3368/5441
or 01 222 6060 (out of hours leave a message). In order to spend the maximum time with our dogs and to provide a quiet, safe and restful environment all visits are strictly by appointment only.

✨ Our very own 𝑺𝒄𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚, “Scrappy doo” is still searching for his forever home 🫶🏽 The easiest gentleman you could ever meet & a what a looker … he is just gorgeous 😍

Scrappy would make the ultimate companion dog, he thrives on attention, crawling on your lap for cuddles & is such a breeze to walk .. he’ll just toddle along beside you happy out 🥰

He is a happy boy to pass dogs by on walks & politely say hello, but we feel he’d be happiest ruling the roost as the only dog in his forever home where we can be treated like the king he is 👑

He is such a fabulous chap who just wants a person to call his own & curl up in the evenings for a cuddle & a good snooze … surely that’s not too much to ask ?! 🩵 🐾

✨ Introducing the biggest softie you’ll ever meet .. 𝑹𝒆𝒅 🩵 🐾 He is approx 3 year old, bully x who came into our care as a stray & was sadly not re-claimed 😔

Red has been the perfect gentleman since joining us & as we are gradually getting to know him more … we are all slightly falling in love with the bruiser 🫶🏽 Red is a total people dog, he loves attention & being close to you .. he sticks to you like a magnet for cuddles 🧲

Red is a great lad to walk on the lead, yes he can be strong at times due to his size, but he soon settles at a nice pace, making sure to get every single sniff in possible 🍂 He’s most content toddling down the lane with his waggy tail, exploring the world & having a good old roll in the grass ... he really is a happy chappy 🫶🏽 Red is great with other dogs, more than great … he’ll make sure to cover a furry pal in as many kisses (& slobber) as possible .. he’s the ultimate softie 🥹 He could re-home with sibling pal pending successful meet & greet 🐶 He is not child or cat tested.

Red really is a beautiful boy, he has the biggest heart & so much love to give .. we just adore him 🥰 He deserves a fresh start in life , a new beginning … where he can show his new owner what a good boy he can be 🫶🏽 We just know that his perfect forever home is out there somewhere … with a big cosy couch he can cuddle up on in the evenings .. this boy deserves it all 🩵 🐾

✨ Introducing Mr Smiley himself .. 𝑨𝒕𝒍𝒂𝒔 💙 🐾 He is a 3 year old, neutered staffy x, who was surrendered into our care through no fault of his own 🫶🏽

Atlas is the smiliest boy with the waggiest tail … he doesn’t understand why his life has been turned upside down, but we’re doing our best to make him feel right at home 👌🏽 He’s a friendly chap who is great with people , he just loves being told what a good boy he is 😇

Atlas loves to play & adores his walks … sniffing the grass & seeing the world go by ! We’ve been told he’s also rather fond of little drives in the car too ☺️ He can be a little strong to walk , but soon settles down , which you would expect for his kind of size. He’s got a gentle demeanour to him, has basic manners & doesn’t snap treats from your hand… however he can be a little excitable & jumpy at times. His previous owners suggest owing to this, he is best re-homed as an only dog & with children > the age of 12. We have no information of his exposure to cats.

Atlas really is a beautiful boy who had done no wrong & he has been a joy to have in our care. Like the rest of our dogs, he deserves a fresh start .. and a loving, playful forever home who will fall in love with him & treat him like the king he is 👑 💙 🐾

🐾 MEET SAM 🐾
5-year-old male Staffie | Currently in foster
Sam is a people dog through and through. Young or old, he absolutely loves meeting humans, and he's happiest when he has company around him. He's not your typical velcro Staffie when it comes to cuddles, but he'll always want to be where you are.
What his foster family says about him:
✅ Great on the lead
✅ Not bothered by traffic, trucks or loud noises
✅ Knows loads of tricks and loves showing them off 🎓
✅ Perfect manners at mealtimes, no begging at the table!
✅ Crate training is going well and improving every week
🪟 His favourite pastime? Watching the world go by from the window
A few quirky Sam facts:
❄️ He runs a little warm, so he prefers a cool floor to a pile of blankets and likes his crate kept simple
☀️ He's an early riser and will let you know when the sun's up and he's ready to start the day!
His ideal home:
Sam doesn't like being on his own, so he'd love a home where someone is around a lot. He could share his home with a friendly female dog or a smaller male (subject to a meet and greet).
If you're looking for a loyal, clever, people-loving companion, Sam could be your boy! ❤️

✨ 𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑯𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒖𝒅𝒈𝒆 🩵 🐾 Our gorgeous , grumpy Paudge (formerly Teddy) has only gone & found himself the most amazing forever home 🏡 🫶🏽

Paudge came into our care as a stray & was sadly never re-claimed 😔 He was such a character in every way possible … we absolutely LOVED having him in our care, even if we didn’t know what side of him we were going to get !! He would decide if he was going on a walk or not … he would decide if you could give him a pet or cuddles … it’s Paudge’s world .. we’re just cramping his style 💁🏽‍♀️ And we loved him for it 🥰

Such a persona , we didn’t know if we would find the right type of person to understand his quirks & love him for what he is …. Until Caroline got in touch with us 🤞🏽 She had seen his post, fallen in love & with ample experience with his type of breed … she knew he would be the right match for her & her own rescue girl Gráinne 🫶🏽

Roll on a few months & Paudge is living the life of Riley in the country side with Caroline & Gráinne by his side 🥰 He is ruling the roost & keeping them both on their toes … from meeting the neighbours 🐄 to jumping in the workmen’s vans (and refusing to get out) .. he sure knows how to keep himself occupied 🙃 Paudge even attends doggy daycare where he is apparently in the “cool” group & has a little possy following him about .. we are not surprised !!
