Meet Billy, an 8 month old Jack Russell X Collie. Billy came in late last Thursday night with a pain in his stomach and persistent vomiting. It turns out Billy has a habit of eating stones out in the garden. Billy came back in Friday morning after no improvement seen overnight and an xray showed that he had a foreign body in his abdomen. We performed emergency surgery and sure enough we removed a 2cm stone from his small intestine. Thankfully, Billy's recovery has been very smooth so far and has been sent home. Fingers crossed for a full recovery for this very sweet puppy.
