At around 2 years old, Rayna the lurcher has really perfected the art of taking life easy😎! If there’s a comfy couch in the same room as her human, she’ll be happy out💕Rayna would love a home where she’ll have plenty of company and won’t be left on her own for long. In return, you’ll have a gentle, affectionate best friend who’ll happily soak up all the cuddles you can offer. As her foster mam says: “She is just DIVINE!”😇

She’s great with children and gets on brilliantly with the terriers in her foster home, enjoying a good game with her doggie pals in the garden🐶💕 She would be best suited to a cat-free home, but she can live with dog-savvy cats who won’t mind showing her who’s boss😂

Rayna is a lovely girl to take out for a walk, too. She enjoys off-lead strolls along the country lanes near her foster home, keeping close to her foster mam, and showing no interest in the local cows and sheep😇

Yoyo🥳🥳🥳

It's a very special day for this little man! He is our longest resident in CAW and has been waiting patiently for his announcement on socials! Today is the day we start to look for a family for Yoyo😊😊😊

Seven year old Yoyo has been with CAW for 18 months now. Sadly he was brought to the vet to be put to sleep after he nipped someone on the heel. The vet contacted us and so began the long journey of getting him ready to be adopted.

Thanks to a wonderful foster home and help from dedicated trainers Yoyo has come on in leaps and bounds. We are still looking for a special home for him though.

No children or access to children. A secure garden. He's still not comfortable with strangers so will need to be crated or kept separate. Quiet places to walk or private land. On a leash and muzzled in public.

We know it's a long list so we need your help to share his post. He's a fabulous pet once he knows you and adores his cuddles and sofa time.

Baby girl Millie is a sad puppy this evening😪 Three families reserved her for adoption and for various reasons they all cancelled😭 It takes a lot of time and effort to arrange a home for a pup but we dont mind that, its Millie we are sad for. Her siblings have gone to lovely homes and she is left on her tod😥😥

This eight week old puppy is a collie x pointer so we expect she will grow into a medium/ large dog. She's already showing signs of being super clever and is quick to learn.

We are looking for a family without kids under the age of seven, with or without other pets. Most importantly we are looking for a home who will treat her as an important member of the household and love her forever!

Sweet little Skipper is a two year old buddy looking for a new home. This lovely boy is used to living in an indoor only home.

**URGENT**

We have been asked to put the call out for help for this Billy Goat. His owner passed away and this poor fellow was left on a chain. He got himself all wrapped up in it probably trying to get some fresh pasture. The chain was all wrapped around his horns and neck.

Thankfully a kind local man rescued him before it was too late and reached out to us to try and find the goat a new home. He is located in Co Limerick.

The team at CAW give their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Frances Murphy. A remarkable woman who dedicated her life to being a voice for those who could not speak for themselves.

For many years, Frances ran her animal rescue with tireless dedication, infinite patience, and a heart large enough to welcome every creature in need.

Because of her devotion, countless animals were given a second chance at life, experiencing love, warmth, and safety for the very first time. She also helped many people in need to care for their animals.

It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Frances Murphy, who passed away today following a short illness.

Frances devoted her heart and soul to running an animal sanctuary, dedicating so much of her life to rescuing, caring for and giving animals a second chance. Her compassion, kindness and unwavering commitment to animals touched so many lives. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten. 🐾💜

A very special and heartfelt thank you to Frankie Coote and Sam Cleary for spending the last six weeks caring for Frances, and to all her wonderful volunteers who continued to look after the rescue and its animals so beautifully. Your kindness, dedication and support mean more than words can say. 💜

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Frances’s beloved husband, Jimmy, and all her family and friends at this heartbreaking time.

Rest peacefully, Frances. Thank you for everything you did for the animals who needed you. Your love and compassion will live on in every life you saved. 🐾💜

A big welcome to our lovely best boy Ringo Starr🤗🤗

This lovely lurcher is eager to please and a quick learner. He is great to focus and people orientated.

Ringo is almost three years old and a lovely age for adoption. Old enough to chill but young enough to go on adventures and enjoy playing. He has been brought to meet a cat and was fine in the same room but the cat wasn't running away so we are not sure if he would chase. He's probably fine with a confident cat and he's very trainable.

If you are interested in adopting a young friendly dog who is great with people and other dogs Ringo might be the boy for you!

Bán would make a wonderful little sidekick for someone who loves getting out and about just as much as they love a good cuddle on the couch🥰 Could you help us find the special person who’ll give this lovely girl her chance? 🙏🐾

At around 2–3 years old, Bán is a Terrier cross, with a little Staffy in the mix. She was found straying in a heartbreaking state, but she’s come through a difficult start and has so much love to give💕

This little girl absolutely ADORES people and loves nothing more than being wherever you are. Whether it’s joining you on a walk, tagging along on your adventures or snuggling up beside you at home, Bán just wants to be part of the fun! She’s a lively girl who loves her walks, so she’d be delighted with an active family who can give her plenty of outings and adventures🐾

Bán really thrives on company and can get bored if left on her own for too long, so she’d suit a home where someone is around for much of the day. She’s good with other dogs and loves a bit of playtime, but she’ll need a doggie friend who can keep up with her energy. We don’t think she can live peacefully with cats, so she’s looking for a cat-free home.

Amazing news🥳🎉!! Peggy, our fabulous Staffy girl, has found herself a wonderful home, right here in County Clare! Here she is with her new sister, Lulu – who was also adopted from us, back in 2024🥰💕

Huge thanks to Eimear’s family for giving Peggy such a wonderful home – we’re thrilled to see her looking so happy and totally loved💕

Massive thanks to our new fosterer, Eamon, for taking such good care of Peggy while she waited for her forever family, and to everyone who shared, liked and commented on Peggy’s (many!) posts, and helped her get seen🙏🙏
