Help us to help you and your pet! 😇
Please don’t let repeat prescription requests until the last minute!!
Our reception staff are amazing multitaskers but for their sanity please give them notice by phone or WhatsApp that you are running low!! Arriving unannounced puts them under unnecessary strain and can result in a long wait or even a wasted journey if your medication or diet isn’t in stock!
Please, please for your pets safety don’t wait until you’ve completely run out!!
Lastly any pet on chronic medication will require regular check ups, and sometimes blood work. This may need to be scheduled before a prescription can be completed. This is for the safety of your pet. 🥰
The office is a busy place these days and we appreciate your co-operation! Thanks so much. 😇

Say hello to Thelma the cute little rescue hedgehog 🦔
She was brought in to us by a kind man who found her at the end of his garden... she had an abscess on her side which our Vets Niamh & Jerry treated. She is now feeling much better & is eating well & will go to Bev @ The Hogsprickle Wildlife Carers - Wildlife advice and rehabilitation tomorrow for continued rehabilitation.

Are your cat’s microchip details up to date? 🐱

Microchipping your cat gives you the best chance of being reunited with them should they become lost, but only if the details registered are correct!

If you move house, change your phone number, or change any other details, it is important to update the microchip database as soon as possible 🏠📞

Updating your information is a straightforward process you can usually do online – you will need to know your cat’s microchip number and the database company that holds the registered information. Unsure of these? Head to the iCatCare website to find out how you can retrieve these details 👉 https://icatcare.org/articles/microchipping-cats

During this warm weather ☀️ Don't forget to put SPF Sunscreen on your white kittie cats ears & noses to prevent sunburn which in turn can result in skin cancer. This is our nurse Linda's cat Ziggy getting ready before he goes out to lounge in the sun for the day...
It's always best to use a baby sensitive lotion like this SPF 50+ one from Aldi as it doesn't contain Zinc oxide which is toxic to cats.
