😤Mary when she sees the delivery driver pull up for the 4th time… 👀😭😂

Mary would like to thank whoever placed this order for keeping her steps up today. ❤️ 😂😂
Between moving boxes, rearranging boxes, and trying to find the things hidden behind the boxes, she’s getting a full workout without leaving the practice! 😂💪

🐕❤️A very special patient was in with us recently❤️🐾
We welcomed a very special four-legged visitor from Drumderrig Nursing Home in Boyle for his castration procedure. 🐶❤️
Care dogs play such a valuable role in nursing homes, bringing comfort, companionship and unconditional love to residents. ❤️ Their visits can brighten someone’s day, encourage interaction, spark happy memories and provide a wonderful sense of connection. Sometimes, a wagging tail and a cuddle are all it takes to bring a smile to someone’s face! 🐾🥰
We were delighted to look after this very special boy and wish him a speedy recovery. He has a very important job to get back to! 🐶❤️

🐂 “Getting cattle ready for housing? Don’t forget respiratory vaccination! “🐂 💉

As we approach the housing season, now is the time to think about protecting your cattle against respiratory disease.
Housing brings cattle into closer contact, increases stress and can create the ideal conditions for respiratory infections to spread.
✅ Vaccinate in advance of housing where appropriate, allowing enough time for immunity to develop.
✅ Discuss the right vaccine with us, at Emlagh Lodge veterinary centre, based on your herd, age of cattle and previous vaccination history.
✅ Check ventilation to ensure good airflow and reduce moisture and harmful gases.
✅ Avoid unnecessary stress around housing, transport and mixing groups.
✅ Keep an eye out for signs of pneumonia, including coughing, nasal discharge, rapid breathing, dullness or reduced appetite.
Remember, vaccination works best as part of a complete herd health plan alongside good ventilation, nutrition and housing management.
📞 Chat to us now on 071 9630786 or call into us now to make sure your cattle are protected before they come indoors.

🦜❤️Meet Coco, the Cockatiel! ❤️🦜
Coco popped in to see us as he was feeling a little under the weather. We gave this gorgeous little feathered friend some extra care and attention. We hope he will be feeling back to his chirpy self after his medication🦜

🐾 Chase is in the building! 🐶❤️
Our long-term patient Chase came in for his full MOT, including a thorough check-up, blood tests, dental check, nail clipping and, of course, an a**l gland check!
Chase may be a familiar face to us, but with his BIG personality, he certainly knows how to make an entrance and get everyone’s attention! 😂🐾 There’s never a dull moment when Chase is around!
It’s always lovely to see our long-term patients and keep them feeling their very best. ❤️
