Stephen went to vets today to be sedated to check a paw he’s been at. There was indeed a small cut that has become infected and he’s on antibiotics & anti inflammatories. Thankfully though it’s just soft tissue and the X-rays showed no injury, good hips & elbows & no issues anywhere. Heart, lungs and all internal organs are good and his blood work is good apart from raised eosinophil levels - something to watch but not panic about just how. (Rotties are prone to it)
Anyway it was great to be able to stay with him as he fell asleep and be there again before he woke up Having a supportive vet team is worth millions - so thanks again to the team at Riverside.

I have no idea what happened to his “back up” cue in the last 24 hrs. It was working perfectly yesterday ……. 🤷‍♀️
But this is soooo funny. Just messing around before boarding the ferry home.
This dog - he’s just such a character 😂
