Don't we all wish we had our own little star. Well here's your chance. This beautiful little boy is
"STAR" & he needs a new home. He is 7yrs young, neutered, toilet trained, he sits & gives the paw when asked. Star also loves his walks & will walk on or off leash. He loves his food & water. He also loves children, cuddles & to sleep on your bed if allowed.Star loves other dogs but it's unknown what he's like with cats. He is a beautiful little dog with alot of love & joy to share with new family members. He would suit a family , or someone living alone. He's an indoor dog & that would be a requirement of his rehoming. He's not in kennels & we feel he would be best going from his present home to his new home.

Buttons needs a home.

Buttons now called Cooper has gone to his forever home.. We wish Cooper ,& his family a lifetime of happiness....

Folks, we are closing applications for Button's now, due to volume of interest. We thank you all for your expression of interest...

Initially we were inundated with enquiries about Button's. But for various reasons homes we had thought might be suitable weren't.
Puppies need to have someone with them most of the time, or go to stay with a minder if owner needs to go away. They also need training .
Button's is now 11wks old.He has learned to mix with cats, introductions & interactions should be supervised until both are comfortable around each other.
Buttons has learmed to go out to the toilet most of the time but with more training ,accidents will become a thing of the past.
If there's another dog in the home, it will need to have patience & be able to remain calm with this bouncy pupster around.. We also want a home with no young children for him. Button's is still in our care

With the warm weather set to continue, we're sharing a few simple ways to help keep pets safe and comfortable during the hotter days ahead.

Top Tips:
☀️ Check that your pet's flea, tick and worm protection is up to date. As temperatures rise, parasites become more active, and pets are at greater risk of picking up fleas, ticks and worms during walks, outdoor play and everyday adventures.

☀️ Walk dogs early in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are cooler

☀️ Check the pavement with your hand before heading out – if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for paws

☀️ Make sure fresh water and shade are always available

☀️ Never leave your pet in a parked car, even for a few minutes
Some pets, including older pets, flat-faced breeds, overweight pets, and those with underlying health conditions, can be more vulnerable to heat-related illness.

If you're concerned about your pets or notice any signs of heatstroke, such as excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, weakness, vomiting, diarrhoea, or collapse, please contact your Village Vets clinic immediately.
