✨Cat-friendly spaces✨ at Urban Vets Adamstown 😺🐾...

Here in the clinic, we strive to make your cat's visit with us as smooth and as fear-free as possible. This is why we have created spaces that can minimize stress and also allow our feline patients to have space to move about! 🐾

When you arrive at Urban Vets, you'll notice we have a dedicated area for you and your cat to wait, tucked away from the other animals we may have in reception. This includes blacked-out cubby-holes for you to place your cat carrier in, with the aim of reducing stressful or overstimulating sounds and sights 😟🖤

When it comes to our consult rooms, we have have certain design features to help keep your cat calm and allow them to explore and climb if they'd like! The beautiful Poppy is showcasing our wall perches 😊🐈‍⬛

We have chosen pink as the theme in our cat consult room, which is not just for design purposes!! 💗💗 Pink is a difficult color for cats to distinguish, so choosing pink creates a non-stimulating and relaxing atmosphere with less visual noise 🩷

We all might be slightly guilty of mixing up the names of our lovely vets Laura and Lara… 🫣🤭💛

The runners of the bunch are back at it again with Urban Vets proudly supporting the Lucan Harriers 5 Mile 2026 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️😆

It was fantastic to see so many of our staff lace up, get moving and take on the challenge — and we’re proud to say they all crossed the finish line with plenty of smiles (and maybe a few tired legs! 😮‍💨)
A huge well done to everyone who took part. You’ve definitely earned the right to put your feet up, enjoy a well-deserved drink and that post-run feeling 💪💛

A special shoutout to Lucie and Orna, who were there cheering everyone on and keeping spirits (and energy levels!) high with some delicious cupcakes 🧁 ❤️

Last night some of our team and colleagues from our sister clinics, took part in the ALG5K Corporate Team Challenge 2026! 🥳🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💛🖤 They set off at sunset enjoying a 5k run in Dublin’s Docklands (although some would say it was just tolerable…)
There were some nervous faces to begin with but they all finished triumphantly, and were met with lots of support, craic and plenty of drinks to congratulate them 🍻😆 All in all a great night was had and it was wonderful to catch up with all our friends at our sister clinics 💛 Dublin Bay Vets Urban Vets 🐾

Tiny chip, big responsibility 🐾💛🐶🐱

One of the best parts of the week was getting to microchip these 8 gorgeous puppies before they head off on their next adventures 🐕🐾💗

Puppies and kittens are experts at finding adventure... sometimes a little too much adventure! 🐾🌍

That’s why microchipping is so important. Not only is it a legal requirement in Ireland, but it’s also the best way to help your pet find their way back to you if they ever get lost 🥺🐶🐱

The unique microchip number is registered to an online database along with your contact details, meaning if your pet is presented at a pound, animal shelter or vet clinic, a quick scan for a microchip can quickly reunite you with your furry companion ❤️🏡

If you’ve recently welcomed a new four-legged member of the family and are looking to take the next steps, call us on (01) 224 15664 or message us on WhatsApp 089 488 8578 for more information or to book an appointment 🩺🐾💛🖤

Hot days are here — keep your pets safe! ☀️🐾
As temperatures rise, our furry friends can be at risk of heatstroke. Knowing what to look out for in warm weather can help keep them safe and happy. With a little care, we can all enjoy the sunshine without the risks, because heat stroke is no joke!🌡️❤️
