Rabbit bonding can take over your entire house — and your entire life. 🐰

Separate runs. Gates everywhere. Constantly checking who's where. Trying to give everyone enough attention. Feeling guilty because nobody gets the same freedom they used to have.

And then there's the mental load of constantly worrying:

What if someone leaves a gate open?
What if they get to each other?
What if I'm doing this wrong?

We talk endlessly about what the rabbits need during bonding.

But what about the person doing the bonding?

That's a huge part of the support I give my clients too.

Because you are allowed to find this exhausting. ❤️

The human side of rabbit bonding matters too.

🐰 **Something fun is happening inside Bunny Club this month…**

September is all about **PLAY** — but we're doing things a little differently.

Instead of me simply giving members another four weeks of things to learn, we're running **The Great Bunny Play Experiment!** 🔬🐰

Every week, members will get a little challenge to try with their own bunny…

👀 Discover what YOUR bunny actually loves doing
💥 Find appropriate outlets for those destructive instincts
💡 Get ideas from other members' bunnies
🎯 Try someone else's idea and see whether your bunny agrees
🧩 And by the end of the month, work out your bunny's very own **Play Recipe**

Because here's the thing…

**Your bunny doesn't have to love the same enrichment activities as everyone else's bunny.**

And if you've got a bunny who seems determined to destroy your house, that behaviour is telling you something too. 👀

We're going to get curious about it rather than simply trying to stop it.

And the really lovely part?

**Members will be learning from each other's bunnies as well as from me.** ❤️

So there'll be videos, photos, ideas, successes, spectacular failures 😂 and plenty of *“OMG, mine does that too!”*

If you're already in Bunny Club, **Week 1 is starting now.** 🐰

Not in Bunny Club yet? You might want to see what we're getting up to this month… 👀🐰

Not sure what rabbit bonding support you actually need? 🐰

There is SO much bonding advice online — but your rabbits aren’t necessarily going to fit someone else’s step-by-step process.

So instead of trying to work it all out yourself, tell me what’s happening with your bunnies.

I’ve created a free Rabbit Bonding Quiz where you can give me the details of your situation, I’ll personally look through it, and I’ll recommend the level of support that I think is right for you.

No pressure. No obligation. Just a place to start.

NEW PODCAST EPISODE!

Are your rabbits actually bonded... or just coexisting? 🐰🐰 There's a big difference — and it matters more than you think.

In this episode of the Bunny Coach Podcast, I break down why quiet, peaceful rabbits aren't always bonded rabbits, how space can trick you into thinking a bond is stronger than it is, and why I never rely on a magic number of days to call rabbits 'bonded.'

If you've ever wondered whether your buns are truly building a relationship or just tolerating each other, this one's for you. 🎧

POV: You're bonding your rabbits and second-guessing absolutely everything. 🐰😬
Rabbit bonding can leave you analysing every single interaction — especially when you really, really want to get it right.
And sometimes the most useful support isn't another list of instructions.
Sometimes you need someone experienced to look at what's happening and help you understand it.
To reassure you when things are okay.
To help you recognise when something needs a rethink.
And to give you the confidence to make the next decision.
Because sometimes the rabbits aren't the only ones who need support through bonding. 💜

🐰 **What if picking up your bunny didn't involve a chase around the room?**

This month inside the Happy Bunny Club, we've been working on something that sounds ridiculously simple...

**Picking up your bunny.**

But for a lot of rabbits, being picked up is a BIG deal.

And we've been practising it properly — little steps, building confidence, helping bunnies understand that being handled by their human doesn't have to mean *RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!* 😂

Because this isn't just about being able to scoop your bunny up for a cuddle.

Think about all the times you'll need to handle them:

✂️ Nail clipping
🧼 Grooming
🦷 Checking their teeth
❤️ Weekly health checks
🚗 Getting them into a carrier
🏥 Taking them to the vet

The more comfortable your bunny is with being handled, the easier ALL of those things become.

And that's exactly the sort of practical bunny stuff we're working on together inside the **Happy Bunny Club**.

This month has been our Pick Up Your Bunny challenge — and we're now at the catch-up stage, with members checking in, sharing their wins and getting help where they're stuck.

And honestly? **This is the bit I love.**

Because you don't just get a video and then you're on your own.

You get to come back and say:

*"My bunny is doing THIS... what do I do next?"*

…and we work it out. 🐰💕

If you'd like to be inside the Club for the next challenge, come and join us.

👉 **Fiona's Happy Bunny Club**

Because having a bunny who trusts you enough to be handled isn't just lovely...

**It makes life with your bunny SO much easier.**

Sometimes you're just too close to see how far you've come. 🐰💜
When you're watching your rabbits bond day after day, it's incredibly easy to focus on the things that aren't going well.
The difficult interaction.
The setback.
The thing that happened yesterday.
And forget that two weeks ago they couldn't do something that they're doing quite comfortably now.
That's one of the things I help my clients with — stepping back, looking at the bigger picture and recognising the progress that's actually there.
Because sometimes you don't need another technique.
You need perspective.
And sometimes you need someone outside the situation to say:
“Look at how far they've come.” 🥹🐰

🐰 **Rabbit bonding isn't just about the rabbits.**

When you're bonding rabbits, it's easy to focus entirely on what *they* are doing.

But what about the person sitting beside them?

The person who's tired.
The person who's second-guessing every interaction.
The person who needs reassurance when things aren't going to plan.
The person who sometimes needs to be told to **take a break**.

As a rabbit bonding coach, my job isn't simply to give you a list of instructions and send you on your way.

It's to help you make decisions as things change, understand what you're seeing, recognise progress, stay motivated and — sometimes — remind you that you're still a human being with a life outside the bonding pen. 💜

Because **sometimes the best thing you can do for your rabbit bond is look after their human.**

🎙️ **Episode 51 of The Bunny Coach Podcast is out now:**
*Sometimes the Best Thing You Can Do for Your Rabbit Bond Is Look After Their Human*

Listen wherever you normally get your podcasts, or comment **PODCAST** and I'll point you in the right direction.

There are no prizes for making yourself miserable while bonding
Everyone talks about consistency when it comes to rabbit bonding.
But sometimes the best thing you can do is stop.
Sleep.
Eat properly.
Get out of the house.
Have a date night.
Remember that you're a person too. ❤️
I've worked with owners who have been bonding for weeks or months and are completely exhausted — and sometimes my advice is simply:
Take a break.
There is no prize for making yourself miserable while bonding your rabbits.
Looking after you is part of looking after your rabbits too.
