✨Meet Dolly - a pup that stole all of our hearts✨
Dolly was found by a gentleman in tallaght that was mowing grass. She was laying there lifeless, hypothermic, with painful trauma wounds to her head. The wounds were so badly infected that septicaemia had set in. He contacted the Animal Trust Fund who brought her to our hospital immediately.
Poor Dolly’s wounds were so bad we had questioned if it was fair to treat her. But she was a little fighter from day one so with the help of the Animal Trust Fund we gave her the best chance we could.
Over the last couple of weeks, Dollys head wounds were lavaged daily and dressed. She has been on multiple antibiotics and pain relief. We slowly began to see her sparkle come back ✨
Dolly came into us today for a check up and is thriving. We cannot believe she is the same little pup that came into us a few weeks ago that almost didn’t make it.
A massive thank you to The Animal Trust Fund without you and the generosity of public donations, treating animals like Dolly would just not be possible 🫶🏻
