Can we all take a moment to appreciate how adorable Teddy is? ๐Ÿฅน

This brave little gentleman popped into the clinic for his very first puppy vaccination and health check. Not only was he a superstar for his vaccines and full nose-to-tail examination, but he also made sure to collect plenty of cuddles from Molly and Shauna before heading home. ๐Ÿฉบโœจ

Puppy vaccinations help protect against serious infectious diseases and give your newest family member the best start in life. Regular annual check-ups and booster vaccinations are just as important to keep them healthy as they grow.

๐Ÿ“ž Is your puppy due their vaccinations, or is your dog due their annual check-up and booster? Get in touch with our team today to book an appointment.

๐Ÿ’ฉ More poo bag dispensers are popping up around our community! ๐Ÿ’ฉ

Thanks to all of your support and feedback, we've been able to install even more free poo bag dispensers in local parks and walking areas, with plenty more locations planned in the coming weeks. ๐Ÿพ

Keeping our parks, green spaces and footpaths clean is a team effort and this is one small way we're giving back to the wonderful community that supports us every day. ๐Ÿ’š

If you spot an empty or damaged dispenser, send us a WhatsApp on 089 463 1563 and we'll get it sorted as soon as possible.

Here's to cleaner parks, happier walks and a community we're proud to be part of! ๐Ÿถโœจ

May is Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿพ

Today we're celebrating our wonderful student veterinary nurse, Gwen โœจ

If you've ever wondered how the clinic seems to be magically organised and ready for a new week every Monday morning, there's a good chance Gwen had something to do with it! Gwen joins us on Saturdays and has an incredible knack for catching all the little things that may have been missed during a busy week, helping us reset, reorganise and prepare for the week ahead.

As a student veterinary nurse, Gwen is constantly learning, developing her skills and growing in confidence. Her dedication to her training and her eagerness to learn make her such a valuable member of our team and we love watching her progress on her veterinary nursing journey.

But Gwen doesn't just help keep the clinic running smoothly, she also brings a little extra joy wherever she goes. She is responsible for the growing population of tiny baby ducks that have mysteriously appeared throughout the clinic ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿ’› Hidden on shelves, tucked into corners and even proudly displayed on our reception desk, these little ducks have become a beloved part of clinic life and never fail to make us smile.

Thank you, Gwen, for all your hard work, your enthusiasm, your attention to detail and for bringing a little whimsy to our days. We're so lucky to have you as part of our team and can't wait to see where your veterinary nursing career takes you ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฐ

May is Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿพ

Today weโ€™re celebrating our wonderful nurse Jeoung โœจ

As one of our newer graduate nurses, Jeoung has already become such an important part of our team. She approaches every day with so much dedication, kindness and determination to keep learning and improving and we are so proud to watch her grow into such a fantastic RVN.

Jeoung absolutely shines during client consultations, always making sure both pets and owners feel comfortable, supported and cared for. Her clinical notes are always impeccable, organised and up to date ๐Ÿ‘

One of our favourite things about Jeoung is her commitment to learning. During quieter moments in the clinic, youโ€™ll often find her with her iPad studying, researching and expanding her knowledge so she can continue providing the very best care to her patients.

Jeoung brings such a calm, caring and thoughtful presence to our team and we feel so lucky to have her as part of our clinic family ๐Ÿ’›

Thank you for all your hard work, Jeoung. We canโ€™t wait to see all the amazing things youโ€™ll continue to achieve ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฐ

May is Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿพ

Today weโ€™re celebrating our incredible nurse Shauna โœจ

Shauna is truly the MVP of our clinic. An exceptionally talented RVN, she absolutely shines when it comes to anaesthetic monitoring and patient care and sheโ€™s always the first person to jump in and help wherever sheโ€™s needed.

Broken equipment that nobody else can figure out? Shauna somehow fixes it. Team running on empty after a busy day? Shauna is already offering to make teas and coffees for everyone โ˜•๐Ÿ’›

Around the clinic, Shauna is also known as our CEO โ€” Chief Entertainment Officer ๐ŸŽ‰ She dedicates her own free time to organising fun team outings, making sure everyone feels included, supported and part of the team. She brings so much positivity and laughter into our clinic, especially on the hard days and has genuinely brought many of us to tears from laughing so hard.

Shauna also helps coach veterinary nursing students, supports new team members through onboarding with endless patience and kindness and works hard behind the scenes processing insurance claims for our clients.

She is the absolute light of our clinic, an amazing nurse, an amazing teammate and an even better friend. We are so lucky and so grateful to have you, Shauna ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฐ

May is Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿพ

This month, weโ€™re celebrating the incredible veterinary nurses who work tirelessly behind the scenes (and front of house!) to care for your pets with skill, compassion and dedication every single day.

Today weโ€™re shining the spotlight on our wonderful Head Nurse and Practice Manager, Alex โœจ

Alex is the heart of our clinic. She somehow manages to keep our diaries, schedules, holidays and the endless moving parts of clinic life organised and running smoothly every day. She handles pressure with so much patience, kindness and respect, always making sure both our clients and team feel heard and supported.

Alex cares deeply for every patient she meets and is constantly looking for ways to improve our clinic and the care we provide to pets. She works tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure protocols are followed, standards stay high and everything is done properly and safely.

Most importantly, Alex leads with compassion. She works so hard to make both our clients and staff feel happy, supported and cared for, all while still making time to give extra cuddles and love to the patients who need it most ๐Ÿ’›

An incredibly skilled nurse and an even more incredible human. We truly would be lost without you, Alex. Thank you for everything you do ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฐ

Bun Bun recently visited us for treatment of a sore foot and was the sweetest little patient ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ’›

Did you know that rabbits need yearly vaccinations too? Their annual Myxo RHD Plus vaccine helps protect against two very serious diseases:
* Myxomatosis
* Rabbit Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (RHD)

These diseases can spread easily and can unfortunately be fatal, which is why keeping your bunnyโ€™s vaccinations up to date is so important.

Weโ€™re always happy to welcome rabbits here at the clinic for vaccinations, health checks and any medical care they may need ๐Ÿพ

๐Ÿ“… If your bunny is due their vaccine, get in touch with us to book an appointment.

Odin loved exploring our cat shelves during his visit ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’›
(and definitely approved of the licky treats!)

He came in for urinary issues after peeing outside the litter tray. In male cats, signs to watch for include:
โ€ข Going outside the litter tray
โ€ข Straining or frequent attempts to urinate
โ€ข Vocalising or discomfort

These can indicate conditions that may become serious if not treated promptly.

If you notice any of these signs, donโ€™t wait to get in touch ๐Ÿฑ
