Yesterday we attended South East Groom Off with a modified continental trim in mind for Caius. No placement for us this time. Self doubt, lacking confidence and not being in the right mind space has a profound impact on the work we do. I am struggling to put my eye and understanding of the theory of this trim into practice.

Thank you to my judges Tanya Salas & Lyndsey Murphy for your constructive and knowledgeable feedback and critiques, these are points that I will strive to work towards.

It was a great opportunity for Caius to be in the ring again for his exposure to competing.

Last weekend I had the pleasure to judge alongside Michael Shiels and Christina O’Brien at The Rebel Groom Off inaugural competition.

Massive thanks to organiser Marie Walsh for taking such great care of us over the weekend. It was a great event and lovely to catch up with my grooming colleagues.

Well done to each and everyone who competed, it was my pleasure to watch you all groom and you were all fabulous!
