We all know walks are important, but for many dogs, a walk alone may not provide enough physical exercise and energy expenditure to keep them fit and healthy.

Just like us, dogs benefit from activities that get their heart rate up 💚 Whether that’s a game of fetch, running, swimming, agility, or simply adding some more active play into their routine.

And yes — this looks different for every dog. 🐾

Breed, age, size, fitness level, health, temperament and individual needs all play a part in how much exercise your dog should be getting. A high-energy working breed will have very different needs to a senior or brachycephalic dog, for example.

The goal isn’t to exhaust your dog for the sake of it. It’s about finding the right amount and type of movement for YOUR dog and making exercise something they genuinely enjoy.
