Mindmypet.cyou Operating since 2010 MindMyPet is a totally free community service for pet owners, and even non pet owners, in Ireland & the UK.

It's free reciprocal pet minding. It's all about reciprocity: responding to one positive action with another positive action. Mindmypet.cyou (originally Mindmypet.org) was launched in 2010 with the aim of bringing pet owners and non-commercial pet minders together. Before setting up MindMyPet we had been involved with an animal rescue organisation abroad, helping with the international adoption of

a disabled wheelchair bound dog in Russia, called Tuzik. Tuzik has since passed but from a life of relative misery at least the last couple of years of his life were spent in the kind, loving and cared for environment of the Pets With Disabilities centre in Maryland in the US. There is an RT (Russia Today) video news piece on Tuzik at our website. We have a Yorkie of our own and realise the potential benefit of such a site. We thought it would be a good idea to try and set up a site such as MindMyPet - we thought that if we would use such a service then others might also (the only problem was that no such service existed at that time!) So, here we are - if MindMyPet helps folks that's great! Seven years after launching the site, in 2017 Mindmypet.cyou extended the service to cover other English speaking countries and territories such as the UK, as well as the Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Gibraltar. At MindMyPet you will be able to search for someone to mind your pet for free or you will be able to offer to mind someone's pet for free, of course there will be incidental expenses such as food etc. Reciprocity is the name of the game: responding to a positive action with another positive action. Not everyone who seeks a pet minder will be in a position to in turn mind a pet but that is the aim. Also there will be folks who can mind a pet but who themselves perhaps do not have any pets. There could be someone in your own area, even on your own street possibly, who could mind your pet but very often you may not even know that - that's where MindMyPet can help. The site is totally free, there are no membership charges whatsoever. When you register as a member you can upload photos and videos of your pet(s). MindMyPet was the first service of its kind in Ireland, since then other similar services have been launched, however, these other services are commercial. MindMyPet started as, is and will remain a non-commercial, free service. The aim of MindMyPet is to benefit pet owners and their pets, not to make money. MindMyPet is essentially a community service, not a commercial enterprise.

HELP.

I write this post with extreme reluctance, but feel i have no choice.
First and foremost. The Sanctuary still operates like it has always done.
However, one of our mainstay helpers was just fitted with a Peacemaker and. has been told NO LIFTING WHATSOEVER. Our other volunteer still receives Chemo and is out of the running too.

As you all know, I myself was in hospital for 9 months, and have started the long slow road to recovery That is not going as well as I had hoped, and i am sill only able to walk with crutches for short distances. Driving is out of the question which makes things even more difficult.

I am asking for help as we have simply run out of money. Our fundraising totally collapsed and we are on the verge of no longer being able to feed the animals. Month in month out we have poured our own money in, but between vet bills, food, electricity we just cannot cope.

IF, and ONLY IF, you can help, please do so. YES. I HATE WRITING THIS APPEAL but we have no choice. Our PAYPAL and IDONATE accounts are active and every single euro is a God sent.

**PLEASE READ AND SHARE ACROSS WEST CORK**
This dog went missing near the Leap / Shepperton area a few days ago and there have been no confirmed sightings.
Her owner passed away just over a week ago and she bolted from the person minding her in the immediate aftermath.
She may be anywhere from Ballydehob to Rosscarbery, Leap to Dunmanway. Please share.

I refrain from taking him to the beach for a walk because it disrupts your vacation; you prohibit me from renting a house if I have a dog, and he's not allowed on urban public transport. Nevertheless, I can bring him to sift through rubble after an earthquake, search for you in the forest when you're lost in the mountains without a map or GPS, join you under the snow for forbidden off-piste adventures, and even accompany you in the water despite the red flag when posted signs advise against swimming. You gladly welcome him when you need his support, but not when it's inconvenient for you. After all….” it is just a dog”….

Think again, people. Dogs are better than most humans, they’re kinder, more loyal, love unconditionally and appreciate you no matter whether you deserve it or not. ❤️

Cali & Copper deserve their happy ending 💙

Cali and Copper have been overlooked time and time again and we can’t understand why. These gorgeous, gentle siblings are a bonded pair who’ve never known life apart, and they shouldn’t have to start now.

Both have soft hearts and a love for comfort, cuddles, and destroying the occasional soft toy. They’ve got that classic bull breed charm: goofy, loyal, affectionate, and full of love. They spent a couple of months in a foster home where they proved just how easy-going and lovable they really are.

They can be strong on the lead (big dogs, big energy!), but they’re also food-motivated and eager to please. They’re happiest with a secure garden to stretch out in, and a warm home filled with kindness, routine, and love.
