From intense distractions to actually enjoying the walk! 🐾

This lovely Golden Retriever, Bonnie, used to find walks very exciting, with pulling and distractions making it difficult for her to focus. Now she’s checking in with her mum much more, pulling significantly less, and learning that walking together can be fun too.

And for a Golden Retriever who thinks the whole world is one big party, that’s no small achievement! 😂

Progress doesn’t mean perfect. It means better communication, more focus, and walks that everyone can enjoy.

Rocky is READY for recall!

This gorgeous Boxer is learning the very beginning stages of a reliable recall, and he is very excited about it!

We’re starting with building a strong association between coming back to his person = something AMAZING happens

Recall doesn’t start with calling your dog from halfway across a field. It starts small, fun and rewarding, then we gradually build up the distractions and distance.

Rocky is already showing us that he thinks coming back is a pretty great idea! ❤️🐾

🐾 Loose lead walking doesn’t have to mean a battle! 🐾
Here are just a few of the dogs who have been working on their loose lead walking during our training courses. From pulling and zig-zagging to calmly walking alongside their owners, those little improvements can make a HUGE difference to everyday walks. 🐶💪

Julie might be tiny, fluffy and ridiculously cute… but she’s also showing off some seriously good skills! 🥹🐾

✨ Loose lead walking
✨ A lovely recall
✨ And a whole lot of enthusiasm for her training!

This is exactly what we want from training — skills that make everyday life easier while keeping things fun for your dog. ❤️

Well done, Julie! 👏

This is a video of my last dog, Nala, when we applied for our trick training certification a few years back 🥰
She was an absolute trick superstar 😎
I miss this girl ❤️

I'm fairly sure my dog is broken. 😂
Why does he insist on carrying his toy like THIS?!
He could hold it normally… but apparently that's far too sensible. 🤦‍♀️😂

Does anyone else's dog carry their toys in completely ridiculous ways?

I need to know I'm not alone!

Rocky is absolutely rocking his loose-lead walking!

Today's session in Midleton was all about helping this handsome Boxer make better choices on the lead, and he absolutely smashed it!

Yes… there are two little clips of Rocky pulling, as boxers are prone to do.
But watch what happens afterwards.

Walking nicely beside his owner.
Checking in.
Paying attention.
Choosing to stay close.
Looking like an absolute rock star.

And the biggest shout-out has to go to Rocky's owners. 👏 They're putting the work in between sessions, and that consistency is what creates this kind of progress.

Dog training isn't about having a dog who never gets it wrong. It's about teaching them what we'd rather they do — and giving them the skills to succeed.

Keep going, Rocky! You're doing AMAZING.

Look at this little rockstar!

Millie showing off her recall from wayyyy down the beach, and honestly… I couldn’t be prouder! 🥹❤️

From a puppy who was becoming reactive around other dogs to confidently checking in and racing back when called — what a transformation!

Her family have put so much work into her training, and it really shows. This is what makes all those little training sessions worthwhile.

Go Millie! 🥰
