Well there's an obvious change in the weather this week. While we do our best to keep your dogs clean, our main aim is happy dogs that can play outside as part of a group, hail, rain or shine. As we move into wetter weather dogs may go home a little different to how you dropped them off. Our outside area does have a path but is mostly grassy. Dogs can be solely exercised on leads if you wish but we prefer them to run around in a group. Hopefully this isn't the end of our dry weather!! But this summer has been amazing

As the summer comes to a close we will be winding down a bit too.

If anyone has definite dates that they need between now and the end of Dec can ye get in touch ASAP as we will be blocking a week or two off.

If there is a week during July and August that you have requested off in work yourself or think you will be making plans, I would advise pencilling it in as we are already getting bookings.

Ready for all seasons now!!! I was looking to put a tarp under the willows a few weeks ago during the thunderstorms. Took a look in the shed first before we spent more money! I took out my old awning/ tent from our camper van days, when we had time to ourselves 🫣 and strung up a few solar lights. Shelter from the rain and sun!!!! It's now one of our favourite spots in the garden!!!!

So the last few nights have been BOILING!!! Thanks to Tom having a broken foot and needing to sleep downstairs, we hot stepped his aircon unit out to the kennels. I'd nearly sleep out there myself!!! My first attempt failed dramatically but round 2 has held it's own the last few days!!!!

After 6 whirlwind months, we would like to thank everyone who has trusted us with their dogs. Not all have worked out as planned, it's a very steep learning curve for us all. But it's been absolutely amazing. Although I now appreciate how wet the Irish weather actually is!!! Hence the chair in the pod!!!

The next few weeks are definitely the silly season so apologies to any new customers looking to book in last minute. We have very limited space, which will be kept as emergency bookings for our regulars. We just won't have the one on one time to settle your dogs in.

Moving forward we have decided as a family to only board small to medium socialised dogs. Any dogs already in our care and booked in are included.

Exceptions can be made during off peak times.
