Tullaghansleek Stud is an institution of equine history which dates back to 1867. It is one of Ireland’s oldest family-owned and managed stud farms and is steeped in Ireland’s history of producing quality stock. green grass with its limestone rich soil which combine with other natural conditions to produce the depth of bone that is the distinguishing feature of the Irish bred horses. You can easily access the farm from all parts of the country as it is located just outside Mullingar in Co. Westmeath, and just over one hour west of Dublin airport. In keeping up with modern technology, the Carey’s brought their equine expertise into the new millennium through their purpose built Equine A.I. Laboratory and Station. Due to this advanced technology, they have been able to provide their superior services to supply breeders from around the world with semen from their team of successful stallions.
