What a fantastic 3 days we had at our Senior & Intermediate Riders Camp! 🐴✨

The three days were packed full of learning, fun and plenty of riding, and it was brilliant to see such great improvement from everyone throughout the camp! 👏

Our Senior Riders worked incredibly hard on their jumping, focusing on technique, riding correct lines, improving their position and putting everything they had learned into practice. 🏇

The Intermediate Riders worked on developing a correct position and progressing towards canter, while also enjoying some lovely treks and plenty of fun along the way! 🌿🐎

On Day 3, we finished off camp with our own little show. It was fantastic to see all the campers working together, encouraging one another and supporting their fellow riders. ❤️

The Senior Riders also came up with the brilliant idea of wearing Christmas pyjamas for show day 🎄😂 — and they looked fantastic!

A big thank you to Gemma from Bantry Pet & Equine for the lovely prizes, and to Lynn from Gaile Rosettes for the beautiful rosettes. 🏆🌹

We also had a special prize for Best Turned Out Pony & Rider, which was judged not only on show day but throughout the entire camp. Huge congratulations to Cathal O'Sullivan and Ned, who were always beautifully presented and smartly turned out! 👏🐴

Well done to every rider who took part — you all worked so hard, learned lots and should be very proud of yourselves! ❤️

Here’s to the next one! 🐎✨

🎒 A very special day here at Lios Lara! 🎒

Well done to all the little ones who started Junior Infants today! ❤️ A special shout-out, of course, to our own lad Iarla on his very first day of primary school. We are so proud of the little man you are becoming and hope you had the best day! 🥹❤️

Best wishes as well to everyone who has returned to school this week, and to all those heading back next week. We hope you all have a fantastic year ahead! 📚✏️

🐴 A little update for next week...

There will be no group lessons next week as we take some time to give our wonderful horses and ponies a well-deserved break after a very busy summer! We’ll also be taking a little time to settle Iarla into primary school and get used to another set of dropping and collection times to remember! 😂🎒

We will still be open for private lessons and treks, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to book. 🐎

A huge thank you again to everyone who booked with us over the summer. It has been a busy one, but such a great summer, and we’re so grateful for all your support! ❤️

✨ Group lessons will resume the week of 7th September.

Here’s to new adventures, new routines and another exciting year ahead! 🥰🐴📚

What a few weeks it has been! 🐴💛

We’ve been so busy with our Beginner Pony Camps over the past few weeks that we completely forgot to stop and share some of the fun! 😅

We ran 6 weeks of beginner camps for children aged 4 years and up, and we were delighted to welcome our regular riders, holiday makers and lots of new clients too! 🥰

There was plenty to keep everyone busy, including:
🐴 Riding lessons & treks
🔎 Scavenger hunts
🎨 Arts & crafts
🪮 Brushing & plaiting
🐎 Tacking up
🧹 Mucking out
…and of course, lots of pony cuddles and fun along the way! 💕

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us and helped make the camps so enjoyable. We hope you all had as much fun as we did!

And **three cheers for our fantastic team of leaders** who worked so hard throughout the camps 👏👏👏 We couldn’t do it without you!

And finally, a big shout-out to our amazing team of ponies who were absolute stars as always. 🐴⭐

We’re already busy planning some **super exciting things for our Halloween 🎃 and Christmas 🎄 camps**… watch this space! 👀✨
