Courses starting September 2026 with Leitrim College of Further Education and Training.
1. EQUINE STUDIES QQI Level 5 with BHS stage 1 and BHS Ride Safe award.
2. ADVANCED EQUINE STUDIES QQI Level 6 with BHS stage 2 and BHS coaching.
3. Equine Stud Management QQI Level 6. New course.

Students will be offered the opportunity to participate in college funded BHS (British Horse Society) Examinations.
Level 6 coaching graduates are approved to teach in AIRE approved centers.
GREEN CERT: The Level 6 Horsemanship courses meet the educational criteria for Young Trained Farmer status (Green cert).

Each course runs from September until June.
These courses are free.
