We would like to invite you to an open day next Thursday 27th August at 12noon together with MSD Animal Health Ireland - Livestock on one of our clients farms.

This promises to be an interesting event with plenty of information and discussion.

There will also be a Barbecue and refreshments provided after the event.

🐑 ATTENTION WICKLOW SHEEP FARMERS 🐑

We need your help to tackle the issue of sheep worrying by dogs.

The UCD Vet School is running a DAFM-funded study to map out how often sheep worrying happens in County Wicklow and how it impacts on local farmers and their flocks. The goal is to gather evidence to help inform policies to reduce sheep worrying.

We need to hear from you!

Congratulations Luna , you are going to be a mom!
Luna's owners weren't sure if she was expecting so she popped in to see us and sure enough our vet Johnny was able to confirm there are puppies on the way after doing an ultrasound scan.

Great opportunity to encourage wildlife onto your farm!

Wicklow farmers are invited to apply to join the project. Candidate sites will be assessed for suitability and, subject to funding availability, may receive direct support for the creation of a wildlife pond on their farm.

Following a successful pilot in 2025, Wicklow County Council is delighted to support the next phase of the ReFarm Pond Project.

ReFarm is a nature-positive initiative led by the Burrenbeo Trust and Trinity College Dublin that partners with businesses and local authorities to fund biodiversity features, such as ponds on Irish farms, creating valuable habitats and supporting nature-friendly farming.

Wicklow farmers are invited to apply to join the project and receive direct support for the creation of a wildlife pond on their farm.

Please note: To qualify for funding under this scheme, proposed ponds must be a minimum of 150m² in size.
