Fairyglen Community Animal Sanctuary Marie Healy Fairyglen sanctuary is an non-profit group who volunteers their hard work to give all animals a chance of a better life.

We rescue surrendered animals that are not reclaimed, re-homed or are just badly treated. Because of the times we are now living in we are getting more animals in because people are emigrating or have lost their jobs and houses and can no longer keep hold of their pets,

We will keep them for an indefinite period and even for life if necessary as no healthy animal is put to sleep due to our no kill policy. We are always in urgent need of donations as we have to feed, house, medicate and obtain veterinary care for all our animals this also include's an ongoing neutering and vaccination programme which is also very costly. April/May begins kitten season which also puts horrendous pressure on us, this combined with people abandoning their pets puts extreme financial pressure on the sanctuary so any donation, big or small would be very gratefully accepted.

Do you have old newspapers?
Our cats do like to keep up to date on current events!
All jokes aside we really need newspapers for daily cleaning and lining litter trays. So if you have any spares lying around we'd be grateful if you could donate them to us!
Thank you for your continued support

***Fundraising appeal ***
It's that time of year again. Funds are running low and we are still inundated with many requests to take on more cats and kittens. While we want to oblige and help as many people and animals as we can, the fact is, the costs involved are putting additional pressure on an already tight budget.
So we turn to our community for support. If you are able to donate we appreciate it so much! Any amount, no matter how big or small, makes a huge difference.

**NEWSPAPER APPEAL ***
Do you or someone you know have old newspapers lying around? If so, please consider donating them to us - the cats like to stay informed on current events! 😼
All joking aside, as you can imagine many cats means a lot of cleaning, and papers make our lives do much easier - lining litter trays, protecting floors and surfaces etc.
So if you can help please get in touch. Thank you 😊
