This fundraiser isn’t just about Horses of Gili — it directly supports the Gili community.
Rebuilding our stables and clinic means:
• continued free and low-cost veterinary care for locally owned horses
• healthier, safer transport horses for residents and visitors
• local jobs for builders, staff, and suppliers
• ongoing animal welfare oversight that protects livelihoods
• a safer, more responsible system for everyone who relies on horses here
When the horses are healthy, the whole island benefits — owners, workers, families, and tourism alike.
If you can support or share this fundraiser, you’re helping keep an essential community service alive during a difficult transition.
Thank you for supporting Gili. 💛🐴

📢 Operational & Fundraising Update — Please Read
Our GoFundMe is now live, & we want to share a clear update on where things stand & what comes next.
After an incredibly difficult few weeks, we have located secure land.
The new site is 20 are, & we will be moving all main operations there over the next 1–2 months.
This move includes:
• Main stables (previously housing stalls, clinic & staff housing)
• Large paddock
• Expansion stables
• Storage & operational areas
⚠️ Temporary Changes (Important)
While we prepare the new site:
• The clinic will remain temporarily closed
• No new intakes or fosters can be accepted
• Existing horses remain safe, fed, and cared for daily
These pauses are necessary so we can focus on rebuilding properly and sustainably.
🏗️ What We Are Building on the New Land
The new location will include:
• 20 stalls
• Paddock / turnout area

This will restore — & stabilize — everything we lost.

🙏 Where We Stand
We are deeply grateful that $10,000 has already been pledged.
To safely complete the move & allow for unavoidable contingencies, our goal is $15,000.
This is the minimum we need to rebuild without risking another collapse mid-way.
This move is exhausting, expensive, & emotional — but it secures the future of Horses of Gili.
If you can donate, share, or simply stay with us through this transition, it truly matters.
