Our Geosesarma research in their natural habitat in West Java yesterday.

Climbing the hill to find small natural spring creek in the middle of forest that happen to be the natural habitat of Geosesarma sp.”Orchid”. The spring water is clear with temperature 23-24C. The Geosesarma is hiding the small holes on soil wall beside the creek. The habitat is perfectly fit for their liking that allow them to access shallow water and lots of dry hiding holes.

In the same habitat also live black Faunus ater snails hiding in between small rocks or sticking on big fallen leaves.

Moss wall, small creek, humid temperature, perfect home for Geosesarma.
