My sweet client today was absolutely adorable, so well behaved, and such a little sweetheart! I only scheduled one grooming for a nice, light day—and then somehow got talked into grooming my daughter’s husky too. One appointment turned into pampering my furry grandson 🐺💙
This little business has been a dream of mine for so long, and I’m so grateful for my family, who help make it possible. I love that I get to run my business and still be a full-time, hands-on mom—with my velcro kiddos close by and involved every step of the way. And to my wonderful clients: thank you for trusting me with your sweet pups and making this dream come true. 🐾💛

🐾 TRAINING. CONSISTENCY. GRACE. 🐾
One of the most important things I’ve learned—both as a dog trainer and as someone living with chronic illness—is that progress doesn’t have to be perfect to still be progress. ❤️
My service dog has an important job, and his training and consistency matter tremendously. We practice, reinforce what he knows, work through the hard moments, and keep building that trust together. But something else matters too…
Sometimes he deserves to just be a dog. 🐶
To run. Play. Sniff everything. Get dirty. Be goofy. Have fun. His working vest and responsibilities are part of his life, but they aren't all of his life.
And in a way, I need that reminder too.
Living with chronic illness means some days I can give 100%, and other days my 100% looks completely different. There are setbacks. There are frustrating days. There are days when simply showing up is an accomplishment.
But I refuse to give up.
The same thing I tell my training clients applies to so much of life: be consistent, give yourself grace, celebrate the small victories, and keep going. You don't have to be perfect—you just have to keep trying.
Today was about training, strengthening our bond, and letting my boy enjoy the simple joy of being a dog. He loves his off daily off leash neighborhood walks. And I think we both needed it. 🐾❤️
