We are proud to introduce Somogyi Betyár Lilu, our beautiful 4-month-old female Komondor. Even at such a young age, Lilu already shows the characteristic beauty, dignity, and confident presence of the breed, combined with the calm and balanced temperament that we consider extremely important in our breeding program.
Her parents are both Champions and HD-A hip dysplasia tested. Beyond their successful show careers, they also demonstrate the true qualities of the Komondor in everyday life: they are excellent, reliable and instinctive guardians of their home and property, while possessing stable, calm and well-balanced temperaments.
For us, breeding Komondors is about much more than beautiful appearance and success in the show ring. Our goal is to preserve the authentic character of this ancient Hungarian breed – its natural guarding instinct, courage, intelligence, stable temperament and impressive appearance.
The Somogyi Betyár Kennel has 17 years of experience in breeding Komondors. Over the years, our breeding work has been recognised with the Bronze, Silver and Gold Laurel Master Breeder awards.
