Just an ordinary day in the garden

Just before sunset, we headed out for another easy canicross run across the Hungarian puszta. 🏃🏻‍♂️‍➡️🐕‍🦺

4 km in 30 minutes with an average heart rate of max 120 (Zone 2).

Gunda wasn’t wearing any tracking equipment, but she handled the pace with ease. This Central Asian Ovcharka girl seems perfectly capable of keeping up. Even the largest harness (###L) was still too small, so we simply used a retractable leash attached to her collar. She isn’t pulling yet, but that’s perfectly fine.

A wonderful, relaxed run together. We’ll definitely be doing this more often! ❤️

Balou is doing great in Belgium! A proud youngster from our kennel. This handsome 8-month-old Central Asian Ovcharka is developing beautifully and has already gained impressive height. He’ll continue growing taller for a few more months before he starts to broaden and develop the massive, powerful build the breed is known for.

His owner, Tom, writes:
“During the day, he’s incredibly sweet and friendly with everyone. But as soon as dusk begins to fall… his guarding instinct switches on completely.”

This is exactly what you want to see in a well-bred Central Asian Ovcharka: calm, stable, and affectionate with his family, yet naturally alert and highly protective when needed.
