🇭🇺 A Mester kurzusos tanulókkal belevetettük magunkat a belvárosi közlekedés bugyraiba. Mondhatom, hogy szuper óra volt! A 4-es, 6-os vonalán, az Oktogon, a Jászai Mari tér és a Széll Kálmán téri megállókban gyakoroltunk, a megállók között pedig természetesen villamossal közlekedtünk. Voltak hajléktalanok, volt ránk engedett csivava szerű kiskutya és barátkozni akaró néni is, aki bár kedves volt, de sajnos szokás szerint kérdezés nélkül akart volna a kutyák fejéhez nyúlni, ami kisebb drámát eredményezett. Az óra végére jól elfáradtak a kutyák és a gazdik is az izgalmakban. 😅

🇬🇧 With the Master course students, we jumped into the darkness of downtown transportation. I can say that it was a great class! We practiced on lines 4 and 6, at the Oktogon, Jászai Mari tér and Széll Kálmán tér stops, and of course we took the tram between the stops. There were homeless people, a Chihuahua-like puppy that was let loose on us, and an old lady who although was nice, but unfortunately, as usual, wanted to touch the dogs' heads without asking, which resulted in a minor drama. By the end of the class, both the dogs and their owners were very tired from the excitement. 😅

🇭🇺 Véget ért az angol nyelvű behívás és fókusz orientált kurzus. A négy alkalmas tanfolyam során végig kifejezetten a behívást gyakoroltuk, az órák 70%-ában kizárólag behívásos feladatok voltak. A maradék 30%-ban pedig a kutyák figyelmének a felkeltését és megtartását gyakoroltuk. Mindenki nagyon ügyesen teljesített! 💪

🇬🇧 The English language recall and focus oriented course has ended. During the four week course, we mainly practiced with recall for about 70% of each occasion. In the remaining 30%, we practiced getting back and keeping the dogs' attention. Everyone did a very good job! 💪

🇭🇺 Újabb kihívás a Mester kurzus 3. óráján. Gyakorlás gördeszkák, görkorik és rollerek közvetlen közelében. 😅 Ezt is megcsináltuk! 💪

🇭🇺 Egy kis részlet a behívás gyakorlásából a Városligetben. A behívást fel kell építeni, nem úgy kell tanítani, hogy elengedem a kutyát, aztán hadd szóljon, vagy visszajön, vagy majd lesz valami.... Ez egy 4 alkalmas, most angolul zajló tanfolyam, ahol elkezdtük megalapozni a behívást és a fókusz megtartását. Nagy dolog, hogy a harmadik órára eljutottunk odáig, hogy a gazdik el merik engedni a kutya hosszú pórázát! A felelős gazdi nem engedi világba a nem behívható kutyát, hanem szépen megtanulja, mi a módja annak, hogy szabadon tudja engedni bizonyos körülmények között. 💪

🇬🇧 A shirt cut from the recall practice at Városliget (City Park). Recall should be built up, not taught on a way that I let the dog go off leash and let's see what happens .. it will come back or not... This is a 4-session course, now held in English, where we started to lay the foundation for recall and maintaining focus. It's a great thing that by the third lesson we got to the point where owners dare to let go of the dog's long leash! A responsible owner does not let off leash a dog that cannot be called back, but rather learns carefully how to let it go free under certain circumstances. 💪

🇭🇺 Mester kurzus 2. órája. Margitszigeti kihívások. Gyakorlatilag semmi mást nem csináltunk egész órán, csak a sziget különböző pontjain gyakoroltuk a marad és a figyelsz vezényszavakat, illetve a helyszínek közötti sétánál lábnál követés volt a feladat. Egyszerűnek tűnik, de egyáltalán nem az. A szigeten rengeteg ember van, főleg jó időben, sötétedés környékén. Futók, mulatozó fiatalok, hajléktalanok, rolleresek, kisgyerekek. Mindenki nagyon ügyes, de jól meg is izzadtunk mindannyian. 😅 A Margitsziget Elonnak is kihívás, mert ő nagyon fél a rollertől és a biciklitől. Szóval nekünk is jó terep volt ez a gyakorlásra.

🇬🇧 Master course 2nd hour. Margaret Island challenges. We practically did nothing else during the whole hour, just practiced the stay and focus commands at different points on the island, and the task was to follow by foot when walking between locations. It seems simple, but it is not at all. There are a lot of people on the island, especially in good weather, around dusk. Runners, young people having fun, homeless people, scooter riders, small children. Everyone was very well behaving, but we all got sweaty. 😅 Margaret Island is also a challenge for Elon, because he is very afraid of scooters and bicycles. So it was a good area for us to practice too.

🇭🇺 Ez egy bátorító poszt! Füles egy idős kutyus, akinek öreg korára alakult ki a szeparációs szorongása, melyet egy költözés indított el. Nem lehetett egyedül otthon hagyni, mert borzasztóan sírt és ugatott. A gazdi több trénerrel is beszélt és próbált változtatni, de semmi nem hozott előrelépést. Aztán velem is egyeztetett, elsőre nem egyéni oktatás miatt, szimplán csak beszélgettünk, mik az opciók és bátorítottam, ne adja fel, mert van remény a változásra, vannak még dolgok, amiket meg kell próbálni. Ekkor a kutya már állatorvosi javaslatra nyugtatót kapott, de ez sem bizonyult hatásosnak a szeparáció enyhítésére. Végül is a gazdi saját ötlete alapján indultunk el, ő találta meg a lehető legnyugodtabb pontot a kutya életében, és ebből tudtunk elkezdeni építkezni. Hónapok munkája van a gazdi háta mögött, és most már büszkén mondhatom, hogy elérték azt, ami korábban csak egy álom volt: Füles nyugodtan otthon tud maradni akár órákra is. 🎉🥳 Soha ne adjátok fel, mindig lehet változtatni, mindig tudunk javítani a helyzeten!

🇬🇧 This is an encouraging post! Füles is an elderly dog who developed separation anxiety in old age, which was triggered by the owner moving to an other place. She couldn't be left home alone because she cried and barked terribly. The owner spoke to trainers and tried to change, but nothing really brought any progress. Then he talked to me what the options were and I encouraged him not to give up, because I believed there is hope for change, there are still things that should be tried. At that time, the dog was already given a sedative on the recommendation of a veterinarian, but this did not prove effective in smoothing the separation. In the end, we started based on the owner's own idea, he found the calmest possible point in the dog's life, and we were able to start building up the new training from there. The owner has months of work behind him, and now I can proudly say that they have achieved what was previously just a dream: Füles can stay at home comfortably, even for hours. 🎉🥳 Never give up, you can always change, you can always improve the situation!

🇭🇺 Elindult a fókusz és behívás orientált angol nyelvű tanfolyam is. Itt kifejezetten azzal foglalkozunk, hogy a kutyák figyelmét hogyan keltse fel és hogyan tartsa meg a gazdi a nehéz körülmények között, illetve sokat gyakoroljuk, nagyjából az óra felében, a behívást is.

🇬🇧 The English language focus and recall-oriented course has also started. On this training we learn how to achieve that the dog focuses at the owner and how to keep up the focus in difficult circumstances. And we also practice the recall for about half the time of the class.

🇭🇺 Mit csinálunk egyéni oktatáson? Mindig azt, amivel a gazdi foglalkozni szeretne. Ezen az órán például az volt a kérés, hogy segítsek beszoktatni a kutyát az autós hordozóba, mert hosszú útra készülnek és bár utazhat a gazdi mellett, de végig a hordozóban kell maradnia (1-2 megállástól eltekintve). Átbeszéltük és elgyakoroltuk a szükséges lépéseket, és még mentünk is egy kört az autómmal, hogy kipróbáljuk élesben. Ezután a gazdi otthon gyakorolta tovább a tanultakat és néhányan nappal később sikeresen teljesítették a 7 órás utat. 💪🥰

🇬🇧 What do we do during an individual training? Always what the owner wants to do. For example, in this case, the request was to help the owner to get the dog used to the car carrier, because they are going on a long trip and although he can travel with the owner, he has to stay in the carrier the whole time (except for 1-2 stops). We discussed and practiced the necessary steps, and even went for a drive in my car to try it out in real life. Then the owner continued to practice at home and a few days later they successfully completed the 7-hour trip. 💪🥰

🇭🇺 Tegnap elstartolt a Mester kurzus, kezdtük egy erős terepen, a Corvin negyedben. Volt is kapásból egy incidens, a villamosnál egy részeg fickó rá akart nyúlni a kutyákra. Szerencsére sikerült arrébb tessékelnem, de éles helyzet volt a fókusz megtartás és a fegyelem gyakorlásàra. Minden kutya csodásan teljesített és jól elfáradtak az óra végére! 💪🙂

🇬🇧 Yesterday the Master course started, and our first meeting point was on a tough terrain, in the Corvin Quarter. There was also an incident, a drunk guy tried to touch the dogs at the tram. Luckily I managed to push him away, but it was a tough situation to practice focus and discipline. All the dogs performed wonderfully and were very tired by the end of the class! 💪🙂

❗❗❗🇬🇧 Intensive focus and recall oriented group course for English speakers ❗ ❗ ❗

🐾 Your dog knows already some basics but it is challenging to keep her/his focus on you?
🐾You have problems with the recall?
🐾 She/he gives you all the love inside the house but you feel like she/he is not so much interested in you when you are outdoor together?
🐾 Do you want to have a deeper understanding of your dog behaviour to be able to keep his/her attention on you?

If the answer is yes, apply to this intensive focus and obedience course where we won't waste time with super basic things, only focus on how to make your dog to be more cooperative in everyday life.

🕗 The course contains 4 occasions. We meet once in a week. Every Saturday at 9:00 am for 60 minutes.

📍The occasions will take place at Városliget (City park) at the "Memorial to the 1956 revolution". (Attached to the mail)
