BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) test procjenjuje funkciju disanja kod pasa s kratkom njuškom, poput francuskog i engleskog buldoga, mopsa, boston terijera i drugih brahicefaličnih pasmina.
Iako se često povezuje s genetskim analizama, BOAS test nije genetski test. Riječ je o funkcionalnom pregledu koji procjenjuje kako pas diše u mirovanju i pod opterećenjem.

Kako bi se dobila cjelovita slika zdravlja psa, uz BOAS test preporučuje se i genetsko testiranje.
Genetski testovi otkrivaju nasljedne bolesti specifične za svaku pasminu.

REPRODUKTIVNI PANEL (PCR)

4 ključna testa za sprječavanje pobačaja, neplodnosti i zaraze u uzgoju

U planiranju uzgoja pasa zdravlje reproduktivnog trakta je najvažniji preduvjet za uspješno leglo. Reproduktivni panel 1 uključuje četiri najkritičnija uzročnika zaraznih bolesti koji često prolaze nezapaženo, ali mogu imati teške posljedice poput:

spontanih pobačaja

mrtvorođenih štenaca

neplodnosti kod mužjaka i ženki

širenja bolesti u uzgoju i izvan njega

ŠTO SE TESTIRA?
1. Canine Herpesvirus (CHV)
Najtiši, ali najsmrtonosniji neprijatelj legla.
CHV je jedan od vodećih uzroka resorpcije fetusa, pobačaja i smrti štenaca u prvim danima života. Odrasli psi često ne pokazuju simptome, ali virus se aktivira u trudnoći i može uzrokovati cijeli gubitak legla.
Testiranje prije parenja omogućuje pravovremeno otkrivanje i planiranje uzgoja bez rizika.

2. Brucella canis
Zoonoza – prenosi se i na ljude. Visoko zarazna.
Brucella je jedan od najopasnijih bakterijskih uzroka neplodnosti i pobačaja kod pasa. Mužjaci mogu imati kronični prostatitis i biti trajni kliconoše bez simptoma.
Testiranje je preporučeno, osobito prije parenja s uvoznim/inozemnim psima.

3. Chlamydia spp. (kod pasa)
Tihi uzročnik upalnih procesa maternice i cerviksa.
Može uzrokovati subklinične infekcije koje narušavaju plodnost, izazivaju spontane pobačaje i infekcije novorođenčadi. Često prolazi nezapaženo..
Rana detekcija može spriječiti širenje infekcije među psima u uzgoju.

4. Mycoplasma spp.
Česta, ali često podcijenjena.
Mycoplasma je normalni stanovnik sluznice, ali u lošim uvjetima (stres, parenje, trudnoća) može postati uzročnik infekcije, pobačaja i smanjene plodnosti.
