The rather gorgeous Welsh Springer Spaniel Monte has just moved to York and came in for his first groom today. What a lovely boy he is 😍

Heads up dog owners! 🐾

The summer beach exclusion zones are back in place on some of East Yorkshire's beaches, so before you head out with your four-legged friend, it's worth checking the signage at Bridlington North Beach, Bridlington South Beach, Hornsea and Withernsea.

The good news? There are still plenty of beaches where dogs are welcome all year round, including Flamborough North Landing, Danes D**e, Fraisethorpe and Mappleton, so no one's missing out 🐶🌊
