⭐ Summer ⭐ (long post)
The heatwaves are on another level this year. I have been trying to accommodate early walks before it gets too and pop ins with playtime, ice creams and cuddles for dogs at home during the day.
There has been a LOT of cancellations because people are on holiday or just don't need me at the moment which is understandable.
I did originally have a 24 hour cancellation policy but I don't always follow that as these things happen.
I am extremely grateful and lucky to have some amazing and understanding customers.
Going from an average or 12 dogs to walk a day to 6 in total is part and parcel of self employment.
I just ask that when there are cancellations please bear in mind that throughout the year I continually try my best to meet everyone's needs. Through rain and mud 🤣
I love been with the dogs, caring for them, watching them have fun and grow, it makes me very happy 😁
The juggles of family commitments, work and finances are very real, especially when vans break down..
The summer holidays start on Friday the 17th July so I will be having time off to be with my children.
I will be offering 3 walks on
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
I will be off for the week from Monday 17th of August as my Canadian family are visiting 🇨🇦
I also have a family wedding on Tuesday the 8th of September.
Fingers crossed the temperatures come down to a nice 22 degrees so we can get some normality back 🙏
Thank you,
Sophie 🐾
