My goal is always to let dogs be dogs, but it has to be done safely. My dogs have more freedom, because I know they will always recall. No recall means no off lead freedom🤷🏻‍♀️
I am not willing to risk my dogs running up to another dog that could be aggressive, or bolting after a scent and running straight into a road🥺

If you are struggling with your dogs recall, pop me a message to see what we can do!📩

There's so much conflicting information about how to raise a puppy. These are some of the mistakes I see most often🐾

Puppyhood is such an important time, and avoiding these mistakes will help you set your puppy up for success and create a well-rounded dog as they grow into adulthood🐕

Play is so overlooked for the majority of dog owners, but it can help improve so many things, including engagement, motivation, confidence, focus, and connection🐾

Training sessions should be fun for both you and your dog🐶

This is Haribo! He's an 8 month old Husky x Labrador and he's VERY excitable around people, he previously would've been dragging me over to everyone, regardless of what I had to offer. However, through a few sessions, we have put a lot of focus on rewarding engagement with me and neutrality and this is the result - walking nicely in a very busy place around a lot of people🤩

You wouldn't know now, but Ronnie used to be SO reactive. I remember the struggle. Early morning walks, the panic when I saw another dog, thinking he would be contained to a lead for his whole life, feeling so embarrassed when he would react. Ronnie now comes everywhere with me. I trust him completely and he is now far more fulfilled and happy than I ever thought he would be🫶🏻

I get it and I'm here to help. Message me to arrange a free consultation call📩

Behind the scenes of a quick training session during my day train with Dutch last week!🐶
At the start of the session, Dutch was constantly pulling and had no engagement with handler at all. By the end of the session, Dutch understood the value of the heel position, repeatedly choosing to engage with me.🫶🏻

Impulse control is one of the most useful things you could teach your dogs.🐾
Dogs are bound to get excited about things, that's normal, but we sometimes need them to be able to compose themselves around all these exciting things.🤩
This starts in low distraction places, how can you expect your dog to keep their composure around other dogs if they forget how to behave around a toy or some kibble?🦴
Simple things like waiting to go through a door, a 'leave' command, or holding a stay around distraction can help slowly build impulse control.🐶
