The beautiful Nala was first for a walk today. Such a lovely girl, she loves hunting for Squirrels and other things but is always quick to come back when I call her.
Next was handsome chilled out Bertie. He was eating a lot of grass on today's walk. This doesn't always mean they are going to be sick but grass does settle the stomach, maybe he had stomach ache?! 🤔 I informed his guardian just in case something develops later.
Romeo and his ball. Romeo has just been diagnosed with cataracts , bless him. Luckily he has a great nose and can always find his ball , although sometimes it takes a while. 🤦❤️ It has to be said Romeo doesn't know he has cataracts , to him life is normal.
And finally , today , was Nancy. Such a special little girl. Nancy has been let down by humans but thankfully her present guardian is definitely putting the work in to help Nancy be happier in the scary world. Definitely a forever partnership. ❤️❤️❤️

Nancy was the first to be walked today. She continues to amaze me with how her confidence is developing and how she is now able to remain happy and relaxed with a lot more in the environment than she used to. ❤️
Romeo got his time away from little brother to play in the park with his blue ball. We then went home and it was little brother Astro's turn for a play and toilet in the garden. He found an apple which was interesting to both of them but Astro thought it very tasty. 😋
Finally the very enthusiastic , happy Paisley. I can't help but smile when I am out with her. She is very obedient , not always confident but will look at me if she is concerned about something and needs support. ❤️

A wet start to the day but I think Norman was pleased to see me. 🥰❤️ He only wanted to have a short walk so once home I stayed with him and played "find it" games with treats.
This afternoon was a lot brighter. Romeo enjoyed time away from his little brother at the park playing with his ball. Astro , little brother, was waiting at home so I was able to have puppy cuddles. ❤️

Phew what a day. For personal family reasons my day didn't start, or continue, as it should have done. I really apprecia...

Phew what a day. For personal family reasons my day didn't start, or continue, as it should have done. I really appreciate the support I got this morning , you know who you are. ❤️

Took the dynamic duo , Herb and Ted , out for a lovely walk this morning. They are so good , and quite comical, 😊 it's lovely to watch them.
Nancy was next. I have put her on a longer longline to see if she can continue to feel confident around other dogs when she is further away from me. This is something I am continually monitoring and assessing and reacting to. I also have consulted her guardian who is happy with what I am doing.
And finally the very enthusiastic Paisley. You can't help but smile 😁 who has an outlook on life we can all learn from.

Just Nancy today. Such a beautiful little soul. Her confidence in the big wide world with me increases every day. She used to find noises scary , other dogs scary , and people scary. Now , not so much. Now she checks in with me, and of course I fill her full of praise , and treats , to tell her OF COURSE she made the right decision.❤️

I want to be more than just a dog walker for dogs. I want to take care of their mental , as well as physical, health. The complete package.

Summer is over and so there are some returning dogs.
Ted and Herb were first on my list this morning. Both happy and enthusiastic to get out and about with me. And then their guardian asked me to give the boys lunch.
The lovely Bertie was next. His walk was a little more challenging because of other dogs on the walk , Bertie isn't a fan of most other dogs! We got through it with distraction and support.
Little Norman was next , it was nice to see him again after a break. He was a good boy on his walk.
Romeo , always happy and enthusiastic.

And finally...... Romeo has a little brother. The very very cute 🥰 ❤️ Astro. Astro is 9 weeks old and is a Cockerpoo. At the moment I get to play with him and cuddle him but will be walking him as soon as he is old enough.
