We had a dark tortoiseshell female cat brought into the practice yesterday evening. She was found straying in the Hyde Road area of Montacute. She is not microchipped.

12th October is World Arthritis Day

Arthritis is a progressive condition and although it is not curable, there are several ways to improve your pet's comfort and help them to lead a full and active life.
Symptoms such as stiffness, limping, struggling to jump and reluctance to walk can indicate underlying osteoarthritis - a painful condition caused by degeneration and inflammation of the joints.
We are here to help - if you have concerns about your pet contact us today on 01935 310930.

Today we celebrate Veterinary Receptionist Appreciation Day 🐾🩵

Many of you will be familiar with our wonderful Receptionists, Gilly and Clare, who welcome each and every one of our patients with reassurance and kindness (as well as the occasional treat of course!)

A Receptionist's role branches far beyond answering the phone, from managing busy schedules, organising referrals and navigating questions and emergencies.

We feel truly spoilt here at Isle Valley to have such a fabulous team at the front of our practice, we really can't thank them enough 🐾🩵

Some of the team spent a lovely Sunday at the Hill Dog Show a couple of weekends ago.
A super day, getting to chat to so many dogs! 🐾 We were in our element. Thank you to all those who came over to the stand, and entered the hamper prize draw.
We also loved the challenge of judging the dog show classes - it was incredibly difficult to place the rosettes as the turnout was fantastic! Well done all! Such beautiful partnerships.
It’s always a pleasure to take part in community events - we love being part of village life. We enjoyed speaking to and supporting the other local businesses present (including the delicious burger stand! ☺️)
Thank you so much to the team behind the Ham Hill Dog Show - congratulations on a brilliant day.
And finally…. Drum roll please… the winners of our hamper were…. Amelia and Isabella Nicol! We hope your pretty pooch enjoyed her winnings 🥰

A moment to celebrate….

We are absolutely delighted to share that Isle Valley Vets has successfully passed the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme as General Practice.

The RCVS Practice Standards Scheme is a voluntary accreditation programme that recognises veterinary practices that meet rigorous standards of practice, patient care, facilities, equipment and professional excellence.

We’re incredibly proud to have achieved ‘General Practice accreditation’ and to have our teams hard work and commitment providing high-quality veterinary care recognised.

For our clients, it means another reason to feel confident that your pets are receiving care from a practice committed to maintaining high standards and continually improving what we do.

From the moment you walk through our doors, or aim is simple: to provide compassionate, professional and high-quality care for every pet, while supporting you every step of the way.

We’re proud of our team. We’re proud of our practice. And most importantly, we’re proud to care for your pets.

Isle Valley Vets – caring for your pets, with their health and happiness at heart.
