1 year of Koda!! 🥰🐾

A year ago today we adopted our fluffy dude!
I cannot believe the difference in this little Puffle, he’s a completely different dog to the one we brought home. Koda was scared of everything, very sad & shut down after living his whole life in such awful conditions, Imprisoned in a caged breeding facility in Russia 😞

But with months of patience & building trust, he’s grown heaps in confidence and is now the most happy, affectionate & sassy little guy!
He’s got so much character, talks to us all the time and loves to paw at our faces constantly for snuggles.
Koda is also very weird, which is the perfect match for me 🤪🤣

Im so fortunate to have such an amazing dog, who shows me so much love and makes me laugh everyday with his strange quirks 🤪.

I love you Beanie 🫘 🥰💖 ###xx

Let’s talk Christmas!! 🎅🏻 …. Yes I know it’s only September, I’m sorry 🫣🤣

I’m very fortunate to say that I’m fully booked until 2027! 🥳 But with the success of being fully booked, comes the huge stress of trying to fit everyone in.. my Christmas week has been booked solid since July 😮‍💨

I know my lovely clients love to have their pooches pampered before Xmas, so I’ve decided to open up a few extra days and appts for late November/early December (regulars only). ✨

Appointments are on a “first come first serve” basis, so please pop me a message and I’ll see what I can do for you.

—————————————————————————

I always advise clients to book in in-advance to avoid disappointment 💗
6 month - whole year bookings are very welcome here at Vanity Paws!
My availability for 2027 will be open to book from October.

Also - a gentle reminder that if you cancel your appointment, Its very likely that I will not be able to fit you back in before Christmas unfortunately. But! I can add you to my cancellation list and notify you of any new spaces. ☺️

Thank you for all for always keeping me busy and supporting my business!

Many thanks, Jess 🥰💗 xx

😓 Im a huge advocate for “Adop or shop responsibly”. If you can’t or don’t want to adopt, please do your research before buying a puppy.

Dogs are so exploited and it’s strangely normalised in the Uk. So many home breeders producing multiple litters raised in a “family home”,
with no license, limited health testing, and with the underlying truth that it’s just for quick money.
The absolute worst is the breeders who back to back breed their dogs from 1 years old as they claim that’s the “best” way to do it 🤮

There are soo many dogs in rescues needing homes, “designer” breeds that some people pay up to £6k for🫣!
Everything from fluffy cockapoos to loving Labs.
The stereotype that all rescue dogs are bad/aggressive is so incorrect. Some of my favourite, most loving dogs that come to the salon are rescues.

We can all make a huge difference if we change our perspective on dog breeding/rescue dogs.
Adopting a dog is truly an incredible and rewarding experience, looking after a little life and giving them the love and care that they never had.

Adopt or shop responsibly 💛

Right now, the breeding cycle for the Christmas puppy demand has begun, putting thousands of innocent, overbred dogs at risk.

Just like Layla. After being hidden away and used for breeding for much of her life, this beautiful girl had little experience of the world outside. When she was rescued, she was heavily pregnant, exhausted and in desperate need of a safe place to give birth.

Your support today means we can be ready to care for and provide safety to more dogs rescued from illegal and unethical breeding situations and give them the care and protection they deserve 👉 https://bit.ly/4wuEJAB

Brave girl 💗 Poor Daisy had to have an emergency operation a few weeks ago for a life threatening womb infection called Pyometra. 😥
It was a very scary and worrying time for her owners, but Luckily the surgery went well and she’s on the mend now & back to her crazy little happy self 😆💗

Here is some important information about the condition for other female dog owners to learn about the signs -

“Pyometra is a severe, life-threatening infection of the uterus that usually affects unspayed female dogs. Common symptoms include - drinking and urinating more, lethargy, lack of appetite, tiredness, swollen belly, odd vaginal discharge. The condition fills the womb with pus and requires emergency veterinary surgery to remove the infected organ before it leads to organ failure or death.”
