People from west coke to Yeovil must have thought wtf!! Main busy bendy road n they see us coming….

Will say this though every single car but 1 slowed down n kept a decent distance so my faith in car drivers is restored for today 😂

Over the stable Door…. She has literally come out of her shell and proved everyone wrong who doubted her!! It definitely was a good move to come home all around…. Shes now riding not just princess but Ted too… shes leading Eleanor out on the road and helping teach her too 🩷🩵

I litrally cannot wait to see how far you will and can go!!

💛I’m Going to Let Your Child Struggle 💛

When your child comes for lessons with me, I’m going to let them struggle sometimes.

They may have never fastened a buckle on a piece of tack. A saddle might be heavy and awkward. Their lead rope may be a tangled mess. And something that would take me ten seconds might take them five minutes.

I’m not going to immediately step in and do it for them. *Unless its a safety issue.*

Because someday, I want your child to walk into the barn, catch their own horse, tack up, and head out feeling completely confident in their own abilities.

Why?

Because they’re learning that they can do hard things.

So yes, I’ll help when something is beyond a child's physical ability. I’ll encourage, demonstrate, and keep them safe.

But when they *can* do it? I’m going to give them the time to fumble with the buckle. Untangle the rope. Try again. And figure it out.

Parents, I know watching that can be hard. You’ll want to jump in and make it easier.

But sometimes the greatest gift we can give a child is not making the hard thing easier.

It’s standing beside them long enough for them to discover:

“I can do this myself.”

So although im not “working” at the moment due to me physically health taking a massive dive… was in hospital again two days ago with a flare up…. Im soo desperate to get back working properly but unfortunately dont think thats ever gping to happen again… so it’s lovely to see this happening….

As many of you kno my son is autistic and has ADHD…
Today we had another visitor who has been dying to ride again after a long break from else where…

Frankie (Jodi) has special needs to and struggles with busy places and socialising with other people… she over thinks situations to the point she terrifies her self and think she’s going to die…. (Massive fear factor)

So today she absolutely smashed it two different pony’s shes never seen or ridden before she got on no issues and even felt comfortable to practice her balance with no hands… shes groom scooby, princess and even helped with Ted!

Hopefully she will wanna come back and visit again (need a hand p**p picking) ahaha….

Due to my mobility issues im currently not working… my health has taken a massive dive to the point im struggling to do my own ponies…. Im able to do riding lessons but we are currently in the process of moving yard as im having to take my horses home…. We have a grass school which is more than acceptable for lessons but il keep you all updated…. Thank you each and everyone who’s been patient with me and checked in etc…. As soon as im able to get back in the saddle properly and working I will update you all 🥰 picture of my 3yo daughter riding out 14”2 ex race pony!!
