We’re proud to support the charities, clubs, schools and community events that make such a difference locally and beyond.

Here are just some of the ways we get involved:

👉 We work closely with Guide Dogs, The Littlest Lives Rescue, Cats Protection, The Cinnamon Trust and many more.

👉 We sponsor local sports clubs, including Claverham Cricket Club, Yatton Bowls Club and Portishead Town Football Club.

👉 We support schools, carnivals and events, including Bristol University, Yatton School Carnival and Chestnut Park School.

👉 We donate free health checks and blankets to raffles held by local businesses and organisations.

We’re very grateful to be part of such a caring community.

Did you know, we post a new case story every month? 🐱🐶🐰🦎

Our very own vets, write a story about a patient they have recently seen (with the owners permission) and it gets added to our newsletter and our website.

A great evening sharing knowledge 🥰

Drill night was a little bit different for us this week!

We were joined by Sam and Ashleigh from Watkins & Tasker Vets, who gave us a really useful run through of small animal first aid, covering some of the situations we may come across when dealing with animals at incidents.

We were also joined by crews from Blagdon Firefighters, Weston-super-Mare Firefighters and Clevedon Firefighters, making it a great opportunity to learn together and share knowledge.

Smokey, Clevedon’s resident dog mannequin, even got a once over too by the vets which was only fair, considering he regularly gets put through his paces during our BA training exercises!

A big thank you to Sam and Ashleigh for giving up their time and sharing their knowledge with us.

Dogs, like Millie, are always excited for a little celebration, whether that’s playing with a new toy or having an extra-long walk.

Today belongs to the treat catchers, muddy-paw makers, tail waggers and loyal shadows who follow us from room to room.

We’re proud to be recognised for the extra care we take to help dogs feel more relaxed and comfortable during their visits, like Mei.

For our canine patients, this means:

👉 Our team has had additional training to better understand dogs’ needs

👉 We work to make each visit as calm and positive as possible

👉 We encourage gentle socialisation and can offer visits at quieter times for more nervous dogs

We know some dogs can find coming to the vet a little overwhelming, so we always do our best to go at their pace and make them feel safe.
