Welcome back to my dog grooming page!

I just wanted to share a little bit about me so you know who your dogs are coming to.

I’m Becca, mummy to a 3 year old daughter and a 1 year old son. I’m also a dog mum to a spicy 7 year old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Brandy and a super overly friendly, 6 year old Flat Coated Retriever, Gwen. I married my best friend in May 2023 and relocated to Old Sodbury from Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

The move and my daughter arriving meant I sadly decided to close my busy grooming business of 9 years down to enjoy some of the early years with my daughter. Between 2022 and now 2026 I decided to train to become a waterbabieswiltsbathbristol swimming teacher, which I absolutely loved but I have now decided to step back from the swimming world and come back to grooming full time with my little salon now set up at home in Old Sodbury. I have already welcomed back so many returning clients from Melksham, Trowbridge and chippenham as well as welcoming new clients from the local area. I hope you all know how much your custom and support means to me, I appreciate each and every one of you.

As I work from home, I am limited to days/times to keep it fair to neighbours. My salon is set at the top of our garden away from the houses with views on to the Cotswold way footpaths/fields. It is enclosed and my own dogs will not be mixing with client dogs. They will stay in the house until clients and their dogs have left the premises. Being my home I politely ask that you respect our property and our neighbours. The driveway is shared access with ours being the last house on the drive with lots of parking/turning space. Please take care and drive slow coming up the drive as our neighbours have roaming cats that often like to sun bathe in the middle. Upon arrival, please wait at the gate until I come down to let you in just in case I have another dog out for a toilet break or even letting my own dogs out for a break. There are ring door bell cameras on the front door and our back door that do record, if anyone has any issues please let me know.

Gorgeous girl Bella the Labrador came for her monthly bath and de-shed. She was super hairy going through a big summer moult given the hot weather recently and I’m sure she feels so much better getting rid of all that loose undercoat. I almost made another Labrador out of the fur but again I didn’t get an after photo! See you next month Bella 🐾

Mr Reggie, I’ve groomed this gorgeous boy from the very start. He’s such a placid, calm young man to groom until mum comes back and he is like a crazy loon 😂 He loves his mummy so much.
Reggie is a show cocker and is hand stripped to keep him looking dark on top and natural with trimmed legs/skirt and ears, mum loves the topknot and star between the eyes.

Flat Coated Retriever heaven last week, Piper had her first full puppy groom with me, she was so excited to be there and nothing phased her at all! Lots of cuddles, flattie kisses and treats kept her super confident. And then her daddy, Bentley, came for his pamper after. Bentley was the perfect client as always, so calm and relaxed, enjoying lots of cuddles. 🥰

Beautiful little Pom puppy, Ice, came in for her first groom with me a few weeks back. She was a little nervous to start but what a super star 🌟 She enjoyed a lot of cuddles, lots of treats and a licking mat to help her relax when being brushed and bathed. Well done Ice! Thank you to everyone who has returned and travelled to Old Sodbury from Melksham, Trowbridge and Chippenham to have your dogs groomed by me again! You were all so missed in the years spent on maternity.

Thank you to each and every one of you who have found me, trusted me with your precious fur babies and spread the word, I appreciate your support a lot more than words can say. More spaces will be opening up soon so keep an eye out for more updates🐾

Good morning to you all ☀️ 🌷

I just want to say thank you all so much for choosing to bring your fluffy family members to me. They have all been wonderful to groom.
I have taken a few before photos but I always forget to take the afters! So feel free to look through some of the fluffy doggos before their grooms. I will get back to taking the afters soon.

Wishing you all a very happy new year 🥳
It has been a very busy few years for me, I have worked with two very lovely groomers in Bristol and qualified as a Waterbabies Swimming teacher as well as welcoming our second baby to the family.
I have decided that now is the time to set up at home and welcome old and new clients to my little home from home salon. It will be 1-2-1 grooming unless you have multiple dogs in your family. All breeds welcome, the salon is safe, warm and slow paced. The full address will be given upon booking. Located in Old Sodbury and taking clients on from all of the surrounding areas including Chippenham which is around 25/30mins.
I have already welcomed some of you back and it was so lovely to see you and your dogs again 🩵
