That’s the last dog finished, of course I had to have my Ivy as the last dog ❤️ it’ll be nice to come visit the site with her as a customer though 🤪

Now we have three days of packing and cleaning left before handing back the keys!

Today was the last day working with Emily, and tomorrow is the last day working in the salon - end of an era 🥲

But I do need to have a big shout out to Emily, as you all know, she’s been working in the salon for 7 years (to the day actually!) but she’s also been one of my best friends since year 8 in high school, so I needed to add in some cheesy photo from our high school years too, of course!

I’m wishing her the best of luck, carrying on her grooming career at Centre Paws Norfolk without me 🥲 thanks for bringing joy to work every day!

So the news is out… from October, I will be saying goodbye to salon life and Centre Paws Pet Spa will be closing 🥲

It’s been a wonderful 8 years here and after 13 years of running salon based grooming, a change is needed. I’m not disappearing though! In October, I will be opening a new business called The Global Groomer

I’ll be going in-house so grooming from customers homes, using their bath and using my table and equipment.

Although I’ve loved the years of running a busy salon, lots of staff and bringing my baby boy in for the first 18 months of his life every day, I get to now cut down my hours and have a much better work-life balance, and hopefully see more of Globe 🌎 while still doing the career I love ❤️

Thank you for every single one of my customers who have gotten me to where I am, and if you still want me to groom your dog in your home, send me a text with your address!

Oh, and we are setting up a self service dog wash on the Centre Paws site…because you can’t get rid of us that easily 🤣 just turn up, use your bank card, follow the on screen instructions to wash and dry your dog 🛁 more details coming soon 🐾

Good morning everyone! My parents will be moving onto a boat in just over a month, and sadly decided that their cat won’t be happy with a boating life. So they are looking for a home for Eggnog (Eggy for short)

She tends to leave the area when we bring Thomas over so would be happier living with older children or the occasional younger person visiting if she has somewhere to retreat to.

She’s great with dogs who ignore her, she doesn’t like dogs who get in her face all the time but has always lived with calm dogs.

No clue what she would be like with other cats as she hasn’t lived with another before.

She’s up to date with flea treatment and worming and she is spayed. She’s a very healthy 7 year old cat

Happy bank holiday!!

Just our yearly note to say, our aircon in the grooming room is still icy cold, reception gets a little warm but your dogs are going to be pretty chill 😎 you’ll all see me wearing my jumper during the day and then taking it off as I leave work because I’m just too cold 😂

We do, however, understand in extreme heats, some peoples cars may not have aircon and be uncomfortable for your dogs - so if you don’t think it’s safe to take your dog to the site if you’ve got a long journey, please let us know the morning of, rather than just not turn up or very last minute

Last week, we had the amazing opportunity to have a tour around the local

We met the lovely Paige from who showed us around the different kennels, the feeding rooms, where the donations come from, plenty of training and desensitisation rooms and places to zoom around!

We heard about the recent story of nearly 300 doodles being rescued from one home, but unfortunately so many of them were pregnant that the numbers were even higher! 😳

It’s such a great charity and if you can donate, adopt or even join their foster team - please contact your local branch 🐾
