A tough choice to make but with the current financial situation a price increase is on the way. Comparing my charges to other businesses in the area I'm well below them. Average price for walkers covering Wymondham is now £17.25 per hour. The most expensive is £22 an hour. Average cost nationally is £15-£20 an hour.
I like to keep my business to small numbers so I can concentrate and control a maximum of 4 dogs per walk. It also gives me flexibility to step in when life throws something at you at short notice.
My service includes pick up, walk, drop off and wipe down of those wet muddy fur babies. I even clean up any accidents that may occur from time to time.
I have no fancy website or mass advertising budget to keep costs as low as possible but there is only so much I can do.
