As Paw Pit gets closer to opening, I’m going to need someone reliable to take over Donna’s Dog Walking ❤️

I’m looking for someone who is:

🐶 Confident and experienced with dogs
🚗 A confident driver with a full driving licence
🚙 Has their own car
⏰ Reliable and punctual
👋 Friendly and confident dealing with clients
🏡 Happy working independently and being out and about on their own
💪 Comfortable handling groups of dogs
❤️ Someone who genuinely enjoys dogs and the job

You don’t necessarily need your own van. I can provide the dog walking van for work, but you will need your own car as I’ll need to use it while you’re using the van.

The work is Monday-Friday, and there is the potential for this to become a really good regular role for the right person and even grow the business.

This is a big responsibility because you'll be looking after dogs and clients that I've built relationships with for over a decade, so trust and reliability are absolutely everything to me.

I’m looking for someone who is genuinely looking for a long-term role and is prepared to commit to the work.

I need to find the absolute right person for this because these dogs and their owners are like family to me, and their care will always be a priority. 💜

I’ve got a few spaces available in the diary! 🐶💜

These spaces will need to be regular weekly bookings, as I don’t have the space to swap and change days from week to week unfortunately :(

Spaces will also depend on where you live, so if you’re looking for a reliable dog walker, send me a message with your location first and we’ll see if I can squeeze your pooch in! 🐕🐾💜

Today we're remembering the dogs who may no longer walk beside us, but whose paw prints will stay in our hearts forever. ❤️

Every wag, every muddy paw print, every happy greeting at the door, and every cuddle became part of our story. They may have only been with us for a chapter of our lives, but to them, we were their whole world.

⚠️ A little reminder for all dog owners. ⚠️

I've just seen this local post and thought it was worth sharing.

Whether this was deliberately thrown into the garden or ended up there another way, it's a good reminder to have a quick check of your garden before letting your dogs out, especially if they've been outside unattended.

It's always better to be safe than sorry. If your dog eats anything suspicious, contact your vet immediately.

Fingers crossed this gorgeous pup makes a full recovery. ❤️🐾

The prisoners have finally been released! 🤣🐾

After a week of heatwave lockdown, today's crew hit the field like they'd been planning their escape all week!

Zoomies were zoomed, every blade of grass needed inspecting, and there were smiles all round. Safe to say they were very happy to be back! And so was I 🥰

This week certainly gave us a challenge! ☀️🥵

As many of you know, I made the decision to cancel all walks for the week. It wasn't a decision I took lightly, but the dogs' welfare will always come first. ❤️🐾

Instead, I visited many of them for home pop-ins, where we enjoyed cuddles, fuss, enrichment, garden toilet breaks, fresh water and plenty of time relaxing together in the cool.

A few of these photos were taken during very short trips into the garden for a toilet break or a gentle potter around. We were literally outside for just a few minutes, and as soon as the dogs headed for the shade, or had done what they needed to do, we went straight back inside where it was nice and cool. 🌳🏡

Every dog is different, and part of my job is recognising when enough is enough. Whether that's a walk, a pop-in, or simply keeping them company at home, I'll always do what's best for them.

Thankfully, the temperatures are looking much kinder this week, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again and getting back to our adventures! 🐕💚

Thank you to all my lovely clients for your understanding. Your dogs are treated like my own, and I'll always put their welfare before anything else. 🥰🐾

Just a little thank you to all my lovely owners. ❤️

Thank you all for being so understanding over the last few days while we've had to cancel walks because of the heat. As frustrating as it is, the dogs' safety will always come first. 🐶☀️

Thank you to everyone who left me cold drinks during my pop-ins too. Those little acts of kindness honestly meant so much and definitely helped me survive! 🥤😂

I'd also like to say a huge thank you to those who still chose to pay for their cancelled walks. You absolutely didn't have to, but as someone who's self-employed, unexpected weeks like this can have a big impact. Your kindness and support genuinely mean more than you know.

I'm so lucky to have such amazing owners, and I can't wait to get back out with all your gorgeous dogs when the weather behaves itself again. ❤️🐾
