A huge well done to Dash today! She was feeling super timid when she first arrived, choosing to hide under the chair for a bit of comfort. But with a gentle approach, patience, and lots of encouragement, her confidence blossomed! By the end of the session, she was happily coming out and working so brilliantly for her mum. We are so proud of her! 🌟

"Your dog wears a muzzle? They must be aggressive."

As dog professionals, this is something we hear all the time—and it couldn’t be further from the truth!

There are so many reasons a dog might wear a muzzle, including:

🩹 Injury or pain (to keep vet teams and owners safe during treatment)

🗑️ Scavenging (eating things that could cause fatal blockages)

🐿️ Small furry safety (high prey drive management)

🐾 Reactivity or aggression management

🚆 Legal or travel requirements

Meet Onyx! 🖤 He’s my 1-year-old Labrador, proudly showing off his muzzle. Onyx isn’t aggressive in the slightest—if anything, he’s overly friendly! But he has a bad habit of eating things he shouldn't (looking at you, cat poo 🤢).

Muzzle training him is simply part of being a responsible owner. It gives him the freedom to enjoy his walks safely without risking an emergency vet trip.

The next time you see a muzzled dog, remember: a muzzle isn't a sign of a bad dog, it's the sign of a responsible owner. 🐶✨
