My little boy has recently become very interested in training with our dogs, he has been having such a lovely time taking Glen to Halcyon Hounds for training club, it’s lovely seeing him gain confidence ❤️

In this last block of Sunday classes there have been some brilliant young handlers across all classes.

They have been polite, engaging and worked beautifully with their dogs.

It’s been so good to see and it has been a pleasure to work with everyone.

In our Training Club class yesterday we worked on a course of skills, with the last run against the clock, and the fastest team won.

Our winners were Arran and Glen. Very well deserved.

My son Arran and our little lab Annie who is only 11 months old, went to the Young Handlers Day with the Bristol and West Gundog society and got a first and third place! I am a very proud of both of them ❤️

Emma’s classes are great! Glen absolutely loves training club

Puppy class - our last one until September!

We have two places left on our 4 x lesson Puppy class starting at 3pm this Sunday in Severn Beach village hall.

We cover all aspects of raising a puppy including puppy biting, jumping up, settling, play, recall, lead walking, socialisation and much more.

We train inside in the hall and outside in the park.

Ryan and I had a great day today doing IGP style tracking with Bobbie and Annie, Bob has tracked previously but we have never done such precise work before and it was great to see how hard Annie worked, she gave it her all, so excited to see how she develops as she gets older and gains experience, we both have fried brains from learning so much! 😴

We love Emma’s classes!

Classes starting on Sunday 31st May in Severn Beach Village Hall.

We have places available in our Puppy (under 5 months old) and Foundation (over 5 months old) classes starting soon.

We cover exercises such as recall, lead walking, play, socialisation, focus on handler, keeping paws on the floor, bringing items back, leaving items and much more.

The cost is £90 for 6 sessions which includes a rosette and full support.

Training packs are provided and you can ask as many questions as you like.

121s are available at a reduced rate while signed up to a course.
